The Big Numbers – Gameweek 7

In our first members article of the week, we assess the displays of West Ham, Leicester and Villa’s forwards as the search for a Callum Wilson replacement intensifies. We cast an eye over Southampton, Spurs, West Ham and Arsenal’s midfields and also analyse the impact of Brendan Rodgers’ decision to switch to a 3-4-1-2 formation in the last two Gameweeks.

    Butland
    Williams Kolorov Zouma
    Cout Mahrez Payet Sterling
    Bojan Aguero Pelle
    Ruddy Westwood Huth Cedric

    4.5 ITB 1 FT

Would really like to WC this week to sort out Cedric, Huth, Sterling, Cout. But I guess the team looks ok so I'll hold off. So any way should I do: -

    A) Cout > Sanchez
    B)Huth > Davies
    C)Bojan > Lukaku
    D) Sterling > De Bruyne
    E) Save

    Thanks

Yoshida played horribly in place of him though so I wouldn't worry about cedrics place just yet

I have him and will transfer out when I've got no pressing issues.
A little concerning but he was back in the side. As long as you have good squad that should cover it.
I would get rid of Huth before Cedric.

is the choice of davies, francis ad nyom okay then for the 3rd defender spot?

He does but with Walcott scoring as an OOP, there is a strong case of a power 5 of Mehraz, Payet, Sanchez, Walcott and KGB.

I can just afford swapping Ayew for KDB for a -4. Already have Gomis for Swansea and not happy with the double up anymore, who do you think is better for a Swansea pick Gomis or Ayew? Other mids are Payet, Sanchez, Redmond and Albrighton.

    Should I do it?

Was thinking Ayew looks more dangerous and he plays quite advanced for a mid. Could maybe do Gomis to Sturridge next week. Would like one of KDB or Silva for their fixtures though.

I agree. Actually even last year it was miles better.
It's just surprising that an organization, which seem to quite wealthy can't really put something like this together.

Is Naughton still an option or should I take a punt on Janmaat? After this week, there are sind juicy fixtures. Some CS and assists, maybe a goal incoming.
Or Alderweireld? Or smn else? 5,2max for a defender...

had hazard since the beggining, just coming into form but chelsea are shite atm. Downgrade to payet and upgrade defense? or keep?

He has put points on the board last 2 and had an incredible run against newcastle so it does seem a bit hard to get rid now. Although I don't know if his going to score that many goals this season especially with the rest of the team playing the way they are currently.

      Switch to Payet!

    Pros:
Get city def coverage for NEW and BOU
Kompany likely to fall in price over int. break
Kolarov likely to rise in price over int. break

    Cons:
    Lose four points

got the exact same problem mate. Want shot of those 2 and will have to take a hit. Already lost out on a shed load of value already by waiting. Cba to follow the crowd with Vardy now. Gonna hold off for a week with Shaqiri and Wilson rotting in my team all the while they haemorrhage value. 2 FT over the international break could be a blessing. But be prepared to lose a LOT of TV. Can re-evaluate. I think Pelle is a better option anyway to avoid the Leicester double-up as Saints fixtures improve.

Just took a bit of a punt on Ayoze in for Wilson (frees up some much needed cash too). Some decent fixtures after this weekend and I've got the WC ready to go shortly so if Newcastle continue to be Newcastle I can change easily. Team right for this weekend?

    Butland
    Sagna//Morgan//Cedric
