    Have 3xWBA (Foster/McAuley/Chadli).

Are we looking at a CS away to Sunderland this weekend, or would you play any one of Pickford, Stones or Capoue (which I currently have on the bench) instead?

Hoping that something as simple as a 0-1 victory and a Chadli goal can give me massive returns for these 3.

    Cheers.

It will be a tight game - for sure. Can't see WBA score more than one or two goals.
I would play Pickford and McAuley (too spread the risk).

Definitely play Foster and Chadli over Pickford and Capoue, I would say.

Since Tottenham looks to be scoring goals these days, choosing McAuley ahead of Stones seems to be a good move. Who’s your remaining defenders?

I could do Cech to Karius which allows me to keep williams and then have Capoue over Carrick?

If you don't ship Carrick you'll get a (cheap) defender off the bench.

Really wanted to save my transfer for the international break. What do you think?

    Pickford

    Williams Valencia Amat (Collins Pieters)

    Sanchez Mane Payet Capoue (Puncheon)

    Lukaku Aguero Rashford

    0.9 ITB

Save? Play AOA? Make a transfer?

Thing is Pieters, Collins and Amat are all likely to get a 0. But then again, do think puncheon's going to score more than 2. Really don't know what to do.

After the West Ham game i really wanted to take out Payet. Was wililng to do a Payet + Collins Out Bellerin + Sterling/Coutinho in for a -4.

    CAPTAIN PICKS

    Ibra pros:
    On pens
    On free kicks
    Great fixture at Old Trafford
Underlying stats speak volumes. "Due" if I've ever seen it
Most likely the highest captained player overall this week

    Ibra cons:
    "Off form"
Wasn't involved at all when United scored 4 last game

    Aguero pros:
    On pens
    Loves playing against Spurs
    Aguero is Aguero

    Aguero cons:
Against a tough defence away from home
Ibra most likely to be the most captained overall, could get hurt if Aguero blanks

    Sanchez pros:
    On top form
Arsenal capable of scoring 2 or 3
Last game of the gameweek (not really a pro)

    Sanchez cons:
    Tough defence
Ibra most likely to be the most captained overall, could get hurt if Sanchez blanks

    Have I missed anything?

Watford, Hull, Liverpool and Swansea. 3 of the weakest sides around. Can't argue against the Liverpool result but I didn't see the game. Perhaps they had an off day?

They were very organised in that game, always the two banks of 4. Liverpool had a ton of possession but weren't able to create too many good chances

Because if owning and mostly captaining Aguero - as everyone should - he's too expensive if not captained regularly. By this argument, same can be said for Sanchez though ....

Say Ibra scores a 13 point haul, then who is actually a better choice than him as a striker? Even taking value into account, that would be 1 blank in 7 weeks

Are you saying it's not possible to have Aguero, Ibra and Sanchez in the same team? If so that's ridiculous. I would expect most teams to have three heavy hitters. Whether you want Ibra to go with Aguero and Sanchez is a different matter but it's certainly an option

      Not on those picks.

      Would like to add:

      Lukaku
Pros: Central in everything Everton do attacking wise.On a goal streak (except last game). Playing a leaky Palace defence. Possibly on pens if Baines is out. Should be 100% fit now.

Cons: Trollkaku. Team was performing poorly last game.

      Mané
Pros: Goals galore from LIV midfield. Mané always look like scoring. Most threatening player in and around the box. Playing an awful Swansea defence.

Cons: Goals and points are shared, hard to pick the right LiV mid. Don't know if LIV have a good or a bad day, still incosistent.

I wouldn't say Ibra being the most popular pick is particularly a con. You could easily say that by not captaining Ibra, you will rise up the rankings if Ibra blanks. Ibra users also have to take value into consideration.

Personally, I am surprised about the Zlatan stuff. Sanchez is on massive form and so is Aguero. With Lukaku being a great option at 9m, Zlatan's large ownership is puzzling to me.

His larger ownership was caused by Aguero's suspension and people being slow to convert back from Ibra to Ag.

          • 8 Years

That is also not a true statement, since Ibra had higher ownership than Aguero to start the season off.

I think it's a bit easy to point to Ibra's ownership as a con for Sanchez and Aguero. From a risk-neutral point of view it doesn't matter at all what his ownership is. A con argument for Ibra could also be; because he will be the most captained overall there's not much to gain. A pro for Sanchez and Aguero could be; because Ibra will be the most captained overall, there's much to gain if Ibra blanks.

All this business of the scandal with football managers just shows that they should always have just been left to coach team, and some sort of commercial director should have had responsibility for the business side of things. This has been the case throughout Europe for years by the way.

On a lighter note, the described below does sound very familiar... 😉
Warming to the subject, he described another famous manager as “very bent”, who would ask for kickbacks to be deposited in an offshore account when transfers were agreed.

My defence is a mess this week, what would you do here? 1FT, 0.0 ITB.

    Foster-Pickford
    Baines*-Masuaku*-McAuley-Amat-BradSmith
    Antonio-Sterling-Capoue-Ozil-Snodgrass
    Aguero-Ibra-Lukaku

Two injuries and one non-playing defender. Already used AOA.

Do i go Sanchez and Iwobi or Ozil and Walcott - want two arsenal mids for their next three/four run of games
i know sanchez is on fire but is Ozil going under the radar? Plus sanchez and iwobi are more likely to get brought off considering Giroud and Perez are on bench?

Help me figure out what to do with Shaw + Baines,
I have got McAuley, PVA, Amat to play for.
    Should i
    a) transfer out Shaw for -4 hit (thinking to hold on Baines)
    b) play AoA
    c) keep those two and go for current def

What to do with this miserable lot?

    DDG - Jaku
Stones, Shaw, Baines, Evans, Brad Smith.

Basically Evans is my only fit and nailed defender.

Really want to save a transfer, but Maybe it Would ne stupid with that defence?

Go with Stones, Baines & Evans..
If any of them doesn't play, that's bad luck

I thought I might get at least one CS this week with my Holebus+Morgan+Williams lot, ended up with only 2 points from the last 🙁

Could save a transfer if you just stick Collins in and pray. Or upgrade him.

When I sign in to FFS and then look at some of the pages, I keep getting pop ups when I haven't clicked on anything.

Bearing in mind you are talking to a technological tool, anyone know how to stop these? Had Skybet pop up, a Mac cleaner as well, happened yesterday too.

Anyone keeping Redmond? These facts are interesting but he's dropping like a stone!

More importantly; play Redmond or Capoue (playing Deeney)

City are finding cleansheets hard to come by and stones is no scoring threat so that is one slot of concern. Also you may be better off with the likes of lallana and coutinho rather than firmino. Besides that you're good to go and fielding a strong side.
