The ScoutCast – Episode 199 – Buttons

Jonty knows just what buttons to press.

When he slyly accuses me of adopting the template midfield, I’m visibly rattled. Leaping to defend myself, Jonty claims victory in this bout of Fantasy manager mind games and may have forced me into a hasty transfer I will come to regret.

Andy and Luke watch on, but it’s not long before they earn our attention, having pressed significant buttons of their own – both are post-Wildcard.

We analyse their Gameweeks, move to recite tales from the community and then take on another round of your questions, which finds us looking into yet another player relationship theory that will have Roberto Firmino owners rather concerned.

This episode of the ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

You can grab the old fashioned mp3 audio version via this link or the first player below, or watch me get riled via the Google Hangout version in the second player.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

is it worth -4 to change baines and rodwell to Snod and holebas? considering fixtures they have coming up? considering bench boost this week...

Team is as follows (if I make the transfers above):

    Cech (pickford)

    Holebas Valencia walker McCauley Amat

    Sanchez Antonio Capoue Snodgrass Barry

    Aguero Lukaku Ibra

Or could just keep baines and rodwell and triple captain ibra?

    any comments welcomed.....

      Don't triple captain anyone.
      Don't bench boost.
Wild card if you still have it as your midfield is horrific.
      Sorry 🙁

saving a FT, ready for tomorrow:

    -------------------Pickford
    -------Valencia - Holebas - Evans
    Antonio - Capoue - Sanchez - Mane(v)
    -------Aguero - Lukaku - Costa(c)

    Foster; De Roon, Amat, Baines

next week eyeing: Baines / De Roon / Costa > Mustafi / Walcott / Austin for a -4

it's a tough decision but Hull have conceded 7 more shots in the box than any other club and 27 more shots overall and Costa is tied 3rd for shots in the box and tied #1 for penalty area touches

I don't base my captaincy on stats personally but if you do, then those stats definitely look enticing. Hope it pans out.

Would you not put Baines in as 1st sub just in case, he's either playing or he's not in squad so it'll save a heartache if he gets fit last minute - or has he OFFICIALLY been ruled out?

There was something saying it would be dangerous to risk him yes, but we've seen those things bite us on the ass before - as Sinik&%&cönt said, either he's starting or he's at home, i'd put him in my first 11 and enjoy what comes.

Love this Coutinho theory. Just proves that he's a ball hogger and loves the moneyshot, hates his team mates. The next Stevie G.

Him passing the ball = more opportunities to work better chances = more (and higher quality)chances in general = more chances for Firmino = goals for Bobby.

Anyone see the Sparta Prague second goal against Inter tonight? I had to do a double take as couldn't believe my eyes.

One pass from a free kick, took 6 players out and they just stood there. Unbelievably bad.

    Lukaku - ibra (c) - Kun (vc)

    1FT : 0.1 INB

Should I save FT for 2 over international break or fix shaw?

Alternatively could do 1 week TF and use WC over international break - im largely happy with attack, but Def and keepers are shambles.

    Input greatly appreciated
