The FFS Cup – Sponsored by FanDuel – A Reminder

Having recently announced the launch of the 13th instalment of our open to all Fantasy Premier League cup competition, we thought we’d give you another reminder to make sure you enter in time.

As we revealed last week, this year’s contest is sponsored by FanDuel, who are donating more than £1,000 worth of prizes for UK based entrants on top of the £350 in Amazon vouchers we are offering to the top three managers at the end of the competition.

In addition, all UK entrants who take part in the cup get a £10 free credit from FanDuel added to their account when they play their first game. This can be used at any time as soon as you register with FanDuel.

Sign up to this latest Cup competition via the entry form here. The deadline for entries is Monday November 7.

Timetable

The qualifying round will take place in Gameweek 11, with the first round running in Gameweek 12.

The first round will consist of 1024 teams and, as usual, all the competition’s previous winners who enter will gain a bye into the first round draw where they will join the top scorers from Gameweek 11. FPL standing will decide who progresses in the event of tied positions. Previous winners must enter to be included.

The cup will then be played out according to the following Gameweek schedule:

Note that some Gameweeks are skipped due to tight turnaround times.

          Would not get rid of Koscielny next week regardless. The only transfers that get Milner out and aren't awfully sideways are maybe Milner --> Cheapie, Sterling -> Firmino, then Sanchez -> KDB over a few weeks, and upgrade Rashford after his good fixtures against BUR and swa. Keeping Rashford (ARS) is also an option, he crushed Arsenal at home last year and given Mourinho's track record against Wenger it could very easily happen again.

          Tbh that team is really awkward 😐

      No it won't.

      The skill in this game is in the fact that everyone has Aguero and those of us who play more seriously are better at building team value to maximise the other spots in the squad.

        Haha I did buy allen this week. But I still think its worth Allen over snoddy.

    Afternoon gents - Head is fried and struggling to consider my transfers. Could I ask for some advice on this bunch below? 2 FTs and 0.6 in the bank

    Pickford
    Williams/Amat/Vertonghen
    SanChez/ Antonio/ Firmino/Bolasie
    Costa/Deeney/Aguero

    Foster/Friend/Fletcher/Evans

      Antonio -> Wally, and Bolasie -> Allen, Stanislas, Snoddy

        Thanks for the reply. Is it likely Antonio will be playing further back? Has Sunderland at home. Should I keep for one last game?

      IMO
      Bolasie --> Allen/Snodgrass/Stanislas
      Antonio --> Walcott

      Foster or Pickford is close.

      I’m not convinced about Bolasie. Or Fletcher.
      Maybe Bolasie to Snodgrass or Allen to free up some cash.
      Get rid of Antonio after this week.

        Cheers. One last game for Antonio then before I ship him out. Bolasie has Burnley away though. Snodgrass/Allen do look appealing with their upcoming fixtures.

    Would anyone swap Sterling for Walcott? Even if it was just for a week or two.

      In a recent poll of Fantasy Football elite players, 7 out of 12 people surveyed said "yes"

      I wouldn't.

      Sterling could match Wally over the next two games. After that, sterling has by far the better fixtures imo

        Could match, chances are he won't. OP did say for 2 weeks.

    Will Aguero keep hold of pen duties this weekend? A lot of his goals this season have been pens, and if he's not taking them then I might prefer Sanchez as captain. Who else could potentially step up as KDB missed last week too? Sterling?

      I had the exact same front 8 as you.

      I did: Antonio--> Walcott & Capoue--> Fletcher. Allen is a waste of 0.5m

      I don't normally read much into these kind of stats, but this one actually is a little concerning.
