The ScoutCast – Episode 221 – Spurred

Despite reeling from shedding Son Heung-min prior to his 19-point haul, I can’t avoid acknowledging that Spurs are currently the go-to source for Fantasy talent – particularly now that Harry Kane is back in our lives.

Jonty, Andy and Az join me for this week’s ScoutCast, which transforms into a tribute to Kane’s Gameweek 33 potential, with the striker enjoying a far different appraisal to his rival across north London – Alexis Sanchez.

With three successive blanks, the Chilean is burning many a Fantasy manager, and, once again we use the airwaves to vent our frustration.

Elsewhere, on the eve of the double Gameweek announcement, we chew over the offerings on show at Palace and Southampton, before rinsing through the weekend preview, with GreenWindmill keeping score.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Monday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Morning dzzz, Currently only have 1 dgw34 player...planning to bring in atleast 4 in the next two gw's...so looking at 2 hits atleast 😯

    Grant --- Heaton
Valencia Stones Davies -- Robertson Mcauly
Alli Eriksen Siggy Sanchez --- Fletch
    Kaku Kun Lloriente*

    A: Siggy + Lloriente >> Zaha + Teke (-4)..bring gibson/ibra in gw34
    B: Sanchez + Lloriente >> Pogba (punt) + Teke (-4)..then gib/ibra (and saha for a -8) in gw34
    C: Sanchez + Lloriente >> Zaha + Ibra (-4)..then just get in gibson gw34

This is really an update on Makaveli123’s post with the help of the calendar gifted to us by @BenCrellin…

Will Ibra play 180 minutes in GW34? Is Ibra essential for DW34?

United drew last night (April 13th). Ibra played.
It sounds like Mourinho isn’t going to give Chelsea (April 16th) an easy ride – Ibra was always going to play.

If Liverpool and City win at the weekend, and Chelsea beat them, United will be 7 points behind City, 8 behind Liverpool, and will still have City, Arsenal and Spurs all to play away. If Arsenal beat Boro as well then the Gunners will be above United on goal difference.

Mourinho has already said he will sacrifice league position for the Europa (and then seemingly backtracked).
United have a game on in the return leg v Anderlecht (April 13th) – Ibra was always going to play.

    Then they have:
    Burnley (a) – 23rd April
Man City (a) – 27th April – Ibra will play
    Swansea (h) – 30th April
    Semi-final 1st leg – 4th May – Ibra will play
Arsenal – 7th May – Ibra will play

Including tonight that would be 8 games in 25 days, with either a 2 or 3 day break between games.
It will change things if United lose next Thursday, but either way… When will Ibra be rested?

Either Burnley or Swansea in my opinion, if not both.

Even since Makaveli’s post in March we have seen Valencia rested twice and DDG rotated. A month ago with Ibra, those 3 were the only nailed on United players.

I’m looking at shipping Lukaku for a hit to get Ibra in for the double. Ibra’s away to Burnley and City, and with a high possibility of reduced minutes…

Did the same move, but I could afford Vardy->Kane without sacrificing Siggy. More tempted to get rid of Sanchez for Zaha for a hit, as crazy as that sounds.

I'm keeping and if he doesn't deliver (which I think he will), he's out. Easy swap for Zaha for DGW if so. Jonty's Goal imminent table helps also.
