Dugout Discussion – West Ham vs Huddersfield

The Gameweek concludes at the London Stadium where West Ham are treated to their first home game of the campaign against Huddersfield Town.

At the start of the season, this appeared to be a fixture which would have seen us back the Hammers’ assets for returns. Three games in and the outlook is very different.

The Terriers turn up undefeated and with no goals conceded. That form has seen the likes of goalkeeper Jonas Lossl and defender Zanka pick up 8.4% and 10.4% ownership respectively. Meanwhile, playmaker Aaron Mooy is backed by 12.9% having produced a goal and an assist to this point.

But West Ham have the best-supported player on show tonight.

Chicharito is part of 1.4 million squads and is backed by 159,000+ (3.3%) with the captaincy.

Significantly, he’ll be supported by Andy Carroll in the West Ham attack, in what appears to be a 3-5-2 set-up deployed by the under pressure Slaven Bilic.

Joe Hart is the next best owned West Ham asset in action, although 71% of his 500,000 owners have chosen to bench him ahead of tonight’s clash.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

          Think they would be better off with Sakho or Ayew up front tbh. More mobile than Carroll, more physical than Hernandez.

    Bad week..

    Have Danilo, Willian, Mane, Chicharito to shift, 1ft, 1m itb.

    A) Mane to someone, Coutinho maybe if he plays wed night, no hit, possible drops will only be previous increases and not lose any profit.
    B) Upto a - 8, follow the crowd a bit.
    C) WC, blindly follow the crowd.

    I still have my WC, for once, and had pencilled in the second int. break after GW7 to whip him out.

    I'm a bit stumped though - there doesn't seem to be a huge swing in fixture difficulty for anyone, other than Man City who have a tasty run

    Has anyone knocked together a decent GW8 WC draft, or decided that they'll keep it for whenever there comes a rainy day after GW8?
