After Arsenal swept aside Everton at Goodison Park, we turn our attentions to Wembley Stadium as Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool bring the curtain down on Gameweek 9.

All eyes are on Harry Kane, who is still seeking his first league goal at Spurs’ temporary home.

Despite that record, he is second only to Romelu Lukaku in the race for the Gameweek 9 captaincy – 18.4% of FPL managers have handed him the armband.

Given that only two of the top 10 captains have scored so far, a haul from Kane could have a major impact on the overall standings.

Elsewhere for the hosts, Ben Davies is passed fit to return but surprisingly has to settle for a spot on the bench along with Danny Rose.

Sold by over 195,000+ FPL managers last week, the Welshman has started just two of the last five Gameweeks and next faces a weekend trip to Old Trafford.

For the visitors, Mohamed Salah, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino have the chance to play their way into our plans as the fixtures turn in Liverpool’s favour from Gameweek 10.

And James Milner – listed as a defender in FPL – could also be one to watch as an out of position option, with Jurgen Klopp naming him in midfield this afternoon.

    Honestly, this isn’t a dig in any way, but why would people sell Salah? He’s scoring goals and one of the most attacking players in the league (not just for mids). Is it because he misses chances?

          It's Liverpool's defense which is usually better in the big games, their attack performs much better in easier fixtures. I haven't owned Salah all season, but I guess that's the justification the sellers had.

      Doesn’t make much sense. I think it’s mainly been because of the City players being cheaper and also Coutinho being an old favourite.

      Urgh three weeks running rival benched the wrong players even puts them last and gets away with it, today he will get xhaka and monreal for mbemba and Davies if he doesn't come on

            only explanation of bavies benching is salah likes to come in and poch preferred a right footed player on that flank. thats not really worked out for him
