Dugout Discussion – Man City vs Arsenal

After Harry Kane blanked yet again at Wembley in Spurs’ narrow win over Crystal Palace, we move to the Etihad as Manchester City and Arsenal go head-to-head in the 2.15pm kick-off.

Sergio Aguero, Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling have shrugged off any concerns over rotation for the home side, with all three named in the starting line-up.

But the Gabriel Jesus exodus could pick up pace as he’s named among the subs – over 203,000 sold the Brazilian last week.

Both Aguero (9%) and Sane (2.5%) are among the top 10 captains in Fantasy Premier League for Gameweek 11. The Argentine has scored in each of his last three at the Etihad, while Sane is seeking a fifth successive double-figure haul at home.

At the back, Nicolas Otamendi’s owners need him to be on his best behaviour today. The City centre-half has four yellow cards to his name, with one more caution set to earn a single-match suspension.

For the Gunners, Arsene Wenger has sprung a surprise by dropping Alexandre Lacazette to the bench. Sitting in 11% of FPL squads, the Frenchman is another premium forward who can expect big sales to follow – Arsenal have visits from Spurs and Man United and a trip to Burnley in the next four.

It looks like a role up front for Alexis Sanchez as a result of the reshuffle. The Chilean has delivered points in three of his last four league outings and, with an ownership under 3%, could yet emerge as an explosive differential.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

What a moronic comment on the bbc live feed about Sterling being rubbish.

Awesome season so far and looking lively today albeit making a few mistakes with final ball

Awesome is as much of a stretch as rubbish. He's benefited hugely from playing in a top, top team. But the guy isn't Sane. Sane IS awesome

Just an easy target for people because they know people will be susceptible to agree. They do it to try and raise their credibility with those that don't watch football enough. It's sad because he had 7 goals and 14 assists last season coming into this season. Now he has 7 goals and 2 assists already. Apart from the Chelsea game, he scores when he starts. Can't ask for more than that really.

One bad first season at the age of 20 is what these clowns think about when Sterling would probably walk into most premier league team right now. Personally I think they haven't gotten over the 49 mill price tag still.

    Selling one for Salah:

    A) Eriksen
    B) Silva

Which one would you ditch? Both playing deep but I guess Eriksen is more expensive..

Eriksen has to survive two blood and thunder games against Glen Whelan and David Meyler over the next ten days. Hold off for now.

Sterling will get pulled for that.

I think he did something similar at Barcelona to Thierry Henry in a champions league final once, and Henry had scored!

How was there just the one goal so far? I think Arsenal are doing the right thing gambling like this. It's the only way they'll get a result.
