      Ethical question - do I remind my minileague competitors (who are almost all very casual casuals) of the early deadline? Or do I laugh ("mwah ha ha") as I keep secret my superior knowledge of league schedules? Or does it make no difference because the person who hasn't changed their team since gameweek three and has six red-flagged players and Lossl as captain will get double my score anyway?

    Is there a mod in the house?

    I emailed in about the captain sensible article coming out too late when it is a Friday night deadline and not having enough time to digest it, especially if you work in the day.

    I was told it was a reasonable request and it would be looked at. It is a really important captain decision this week. Will we have enough time to read the article tomorrow evening?

        It's been really difficult on a Friday night - by the time the article comes out and I get home from work, there is no time but to do little more than scan read the conclusion. Some other people have mentioned this as well on here.

      Articles always just say "Maybe A, maybe B". They don't commit. I don't read them. Opinions of posters and information about injuries etc. are what i come here for.

      Do read the tweets, hot topics, ticker and consider other people's points but never really cared much for articles. They're just big long posts that aren't making a particular argument for any particular player

          But Virg, Paul (the guy who's articles you need some time to digest) has had 4 hits and 8 misses with the captaincy so far (if you consider the Salah 4 pointer a miss - if you consider it a hit than it's 5 & 7).

          Not trying to say Paul is a bad player or anything like that, but that the captaincy is a hit and miss kind of thing. You don't need to stress it so much. The captaincy is the luck factor - just enjoy the roll.

      Hazard is a fantasic captain option though. As mentioned in the scoutcast, the bonus points favour him over Morata. Also, given he tends to return more often at home, SWA and NEW immediately after Liverpool looks pretty tasty.

    Is playing double Burnley defence a mistake this week? Don't think I've ever played a double defence against a top 6 team in a SGW before but then again I can't remember that many non-top 6 teams as solid at home as Burnley.

    My only alternatives are Duffy (mun) and Elliot (WAT).
