Saturday’s matches conclude at Stamford Bridge with champions Chelsea hosting relegation-threatened Crystal Palace.

There is plenty of interest from a Fantasy perspective, with Willian heading into the encounter as the third most signed player ahead of today’s deadline.

He has over 100,000 new owners and boasts three goals and three assists from his last five Gameweek starts, one of which was a 32-minute appearance at Watford.

The Brazilian is now in 11% of Fantasy Premier League squads, which surprisingly dwarfs the 7.6% recorded by team-mate Eden Hazard.

The Belgian will be fancied ahead of this evening’s kick-off, having scored six goals in his last eight Gameweek starts. He has been spared the false nine role, with Antonio Conte opting for Olivier Giroud over Alvaro Morata to lead his attack.

N’Golo Kante returns in the Chelsea midfield, which will doubtless boost their clean sheet prospects. Conte’s backline have kept five shut-outs in their last six Stamford Bridge outings.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Pre-BGW chuckle is checking out the 'transfers in' page on FPL.
    11 of the 21 highest transferred mids & forwards don't have a game. Nothing new here, it happens every season...oh, and don't go blaming wildcrds.

        Not really clear what I’m saying... they are buying these players because they think they will go up and they want them for GW32 onwards and are planning to use a FH anyway in 31 so don’t care that they are playing. Definitely the view of a lot of casuals I play against and let’s be honest, the majority of the 5.5 million who play are casuals.

        Are assists supposed to be double counted like this? An assist by definition would seem to be a big chance created. So, Nacho got the sorta double bonus (bonus for an assist and bonus for a big chance created) while Mahrez's amazing 25 yard pass that resulted in a goal for Vardy was not? As a Mahrez owner, if all of this is true, that is certainly disappointing. 2 real fantasy points were the consequence.

          Yes they are double counted some times, Iheanacho's was counted and Mahrez' was not. Im a Mahrez owner as well and its really annoying.

            As a mahrez owner, I have to admit, I am bit annoyed at the outcome, too. The bonus points in these two examples do seem somewhat arbitrary.

              How is it arbitrary? If it's an easy chance to score, you get more points for the assist. It just seems unfair because Mahrez had a beautiful long pass for the assist. It was still not a big chance for Vardy.

                I guess so. Just seems backwards. IMO, it's a little like hitting a long 3-pointer in hoops or completing a long pass in NFL, or making a great catch in baseball. If there were bonus points in those fantasy games (and there are not, cos those sports have enough stats where we do not need to invent weird subjective ones to compensate, however, I digress...), those extraordinary plays where execution was made with a higher degree of difficulty (in this case, both the pass and shot were exceptinoal) would count more, not less, towards the subjective determination of bonus. All in my fantasy opinion.

                Its arbitrary because a person subjectively decided "this is a big chance" for Iheanacho's pass and "this is not a big chance" for Mahrez pass.

        Big Chances

        A situation where a player should reasonably be expected to score usually in a one-on-one scenario or from very close range.

        Most players don't score that goal.

          Ah, I see. So in a sense Mahrez did not earn a big chance created bonus because the level of difficulty surrounding the eventual goal exceeded the "reasonable expectation to score." Quite a scenario.

    Quick question.

    Will play my Free Chip for the blank gw. One of player's price is dropping tonight. Can I sell him now as a FT then play my free chip after? I want to avoid getting him back (with his price drop) when my team goes back to the original team next week.

    Just looked at the final Chelsea-Palace result after seeing it at 2-0 after 70 minutes. Was that van Aanholt goal a sweet one or what?! For those of us without Chelsea defenders it was a saviour.

    Tough decision for me. I have 3 Pool players for Gw31 and likely 8 (9 if you count Tom Carroll) players for Gw35 if things go as expected in the FA Cup. I will bench boost gw34 and TC Gw37. Logical thing for me to do is to free hit Gw31 right? Initially thought, nah, don't free hit, you're only wasting it but someone has to score in those 1-1 draws right 😉

          Playing Robertson over Zanka was stupid. Weirdly I even considered Janmaat before Zanka.

          I am slightly biassed though as I've missed Robbo's CS' in the past and have owned Zanka from GW2 but rarely play him as I know Hudds rarely keep CS, this is only their 2nd in last 14...
