Suspended Sanchez most-owned asset for Poland v Colombia

The most popular World Cup Fantasy asset in Poland v Colombia won’t actually feature in the match.

That’s because Carlos Sanchez (£4.5m), owned by 14.5 percent of managers, will miss Gameround 2 due to suspension.

The Colombian midfielder was sent off for a hand-ball against Japan, conceding a penalty in the process.

2014’s break-out star James Rodriguez (£9.0m) still has 11.5 percent backing despite missing out on a starting place in Gameround 1 due to injury.

For Poland, their go-to man is Robert Lewandowksi (£9.5m), with 7.2 percent ownership.

Apart from Wojciech Szczesny (£5.0m), no other player in Poland’s ranks has more than 3.1 percent ownership.

World Cup Data

We’re delighted to offer World Cup data as an early addition to our regular season offering to help those playing Fantasy games over the summer.

We’ve secured Opta data, not only for the tournament itself, but also from the Qualifying Rounds for Europe and South America and for international friendlies involving the participating nations. This includes all the matches played right up to the tournament kick-off.

Just to stress, this World Cup offering comes packaged with the regular Fantasy Football Scout membership.

I have a total of 12 transfers left in the WC, am i right to prioritise theese transfers? (marked *)

    Muslera, Halldorson
    Cacares*, Hector, Meunier*, Danilo (Dalsgaard)
    Meza*, Silva, Coutinho (Otayf, Boussoufa)
    Cavani, Kane*, Lukaku*

Thinking of getting Werner and mayb another Germany player in, Gamle on Messi revival for argentina? They must surely go for the big number win.

Is it worth tranferring Kane and Kaku out just for this round when i surely want at least one of them back

Expected this from you :D. Pretty happy with 8 of my players, and don't think I could improve the team with WC enough to justify it's use. Just got to sacrifice a little this week with a few unnailed players, but the bench should help me out 🙂 WC in QFs allows you to play the fixtures and prepare better for the final 3 rounds.

Ok, if it's 8 players you'd get on WC anyway then it probably is a waste. I figured you have more issues than those.

Still you're going without a FW and a DEF in a round where we are likely to see many goals and easy clean sheets, not sure we'll get that chance in QFs.

I feel clubs as salary payers should insist on this. Spurs are paying Kane 10m a year, so shouldn't have their asset risked/ fatigued from playing rubbish is friendlies and qualifiers. Not too much to ask for him to turn up every second year at a summer tournament.

Lukaku probably won’t play. Varela unlikely as well

True, but it at least means I get 2 FULL games in the evening instead of catching the last half an hour of the second game...

Should I leave the wildcard for the Knockout rounds or do it for Round 3?

Find it strange that Ally McCoist is so into the cultural heritage of the places he visits (talking today on commentary about Kazan and Ivan the Terrible). Did it the last game too.

Champion and McCoist is old school commentating, but I like it. Far more than Danny Murphy, Martin Keown and Mark Lawrenson - why are they so miserable?

Cuadrado and Quintero look like good options if Colombia win
