Does drop in Kane’s numbers affect FPL credentials for Gameweek 8?

Harry Kane (£12.5m) is already the runaway leader of our Gameweek 8 captain poll, but do those currently not in possession of the Spurs forward need to sign him?

That is the big question on the minds of many Fantasy Premier League managers this week, especially with Liverpool and Manchester City options potentially cancelling each other out.

We’ve gone over some of Kane’s numbers from the first seven Gameweeks and compared them with how he was faring 12 months ago, to see if it’s worth selling the likes of Sergio Aguero (£11.4m) or Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) to get him in.

    Aguero will start against Liverpool. Biggest game of city's seasons so far, then he has a 2 week break coming after. No way he's benched imo.

      Captain Trippier is a maverick move that you would only do if you’re chasing or can afford to take such a punt. Remember, one goal conceded and you’re relying on attacking points. Alonso had double digit halls until they played Cardiff at home and he scored 2.

    What are everyone's thoughts on Holebas? I've bought him in for 0,1,1 & missed all his hauls. I don't have much confidence in him but the fixtures do look good.
