        Yeah. Wanted to get rid with a profit. Dont understand people bringing in Martial now.

        Utd were poor the last two games, he was poor, he has competition for his place and Mourinho said his physical condition wouldnt allow him to play three games in a week.

        Can't be certain, but I'd actually say that Sane is a more sure starter while Mendy is out. No one else can provide the required width on the left that Sane can.

    Are most on here dissapointed with their goalkeeper returns this season so far or is it just me?

    I feel like the position is really being overlooked. Just realized I've only had 1 cleansheet in the GK position all season (Fab vs Chelsea). Switched fab to patricio in GW 9 and have gotten all 2 point returns.

    Maybe I was spoiled with DDG set and forget last season.

    Extreme example here but if you went for Pickford over Patricio in GW 9 (when I wildcarded personally) you'd be up 31 points!

    Feel as though Pickford is a good option going forward with good mid-term fixtures and Lloris is being overlooked as a steady point accumulator if you want to spend a bit more.

    Feel that many own Fab on here. Are you content with him going forward as he has good fixtures but isn't bringing in decent returns? Who would be your GK pick going forward if you could choose? Hopefully this can generate some decent discussion. Thanks in advance.

      Had Ederson and would love to still have him instead of Fab. Just need those city spaces for attack unfortunately. Think Lloris, Pickford and kepa all good options

      I brought in Ederson in GW3. 7 clean sheets out of 11 games I have had him so can't complain. Although Ederson was pretty much responsible for city's failure losing 2 of the 4 clean sheets with dumb errors which was a bit annoying.

    Basically my choice on WC has boiled down to :

    I realize they play different positions, but they inhabit the same price range. Which would you choose?

        With other sides I would agree, but I think the way that Guardiola sides play means it's different. They score SO many goals that end with one winger sliding the ball across goal to the other, Sterling and Sane just run riot. Add that to the fact that they're playing in, in my opinion, the best side in PL history, it's very different to someone like Martial scoring every game.

          To clarify, I'm not saying Sane will average 2 returns a game over the season, but I think he and Sterling will end up with the best PPM of all midfielders.

      You may have to do a boring keeper transfer or upgrade Westwood (to whom, I'm not sure)

        Would you rate Laporte higher than Trippier though once he is back?

          No - Trippier is a much better bet for cs and attacking returns.

        Yeah maybe but who would you take out of the defence? I'm thinking that Ederson is a good option as he is rotation proof over Christmas.

          Ederson is a good option and I'm planning to take out Doherty after the GW 16 for other options. Why not Laporte and Fabianski instead? West Ham defenders might not give you that many points as compared to Fabianski while Laporte has a huge goal threat

      I had Ederson half the season and he served me well. Don't expect crazy points though. But it's as close as a guarenteed 6. No regrets changing to Fabianski tho. Money could be spent elsewhere

    best replacement for Ings? probably for 1-3 GW before WC.

          Can see BOU scoring funnily enough. They have the stats to back that up and when you have Wilson upfront too, that's quite a goal threat.

            maybe in gw15 or gw16, depending on injury.
            yup poor fixture but no other better choice in that price range plus i think he will get some return against liv at home
