Top 10k managers wait to pile in on Spurs assets

Gameweek 14 could be the calm before the storm, as the season template is more dynamically evolving now.

Fantasy managers only have one month left to use their first Wildcard if they still have it, and many were waiting to unleash it for the busy December period.

As the figure show, so far 79.39% Wildcards have been used in the top 10k, which means we can expect to see more than 20% more deployed in the coming month.

Probably many of those will be played within the first week of December to capitalise on the nice run of fixtures awaiting Spurs and Arsenal.

The percentage of Wildcards in Gameweek 14 though is as low as 1.4% but that’s still the most common chip used this week.

The Wildcarders this week seem to have overlooked Spurs assets, with the focus being to bring in as many Manchester City attackers as possible.

We see that Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane are among the most selected players in Wildcards this week. To be able to fund this wildcard team, it seems like Mohamed Salah is the scapegoat as he moves out of the most selected Wildcard team.

However, Salah is still currently owned by around 60% in the top10k, and with more wildcards coming next trying to fit many big hitters, whether to keep him or not is a question to think about. Salah has got only 7.27% captaincy percentage this week as there are a plethora of big hitters with nice fixtures. Aguero leads the way with 50.38% then Sterling and Eden Hazard come second and third with 23.57% and 11.46%.

This splitting between top 10k managers could prove vital to rank changes this week as the three main captains all actually have some rotation risks looming around them.

The effective ownership this week is split too with Aguero the only player with bigger than 100% effective ownership of 131.53%

Aguero: 131.53%
Alonso: 83.61%
Hazard: 76.15%
Robertson: 72.72%
Salah: 67.2%
Sterling: 66.82%
Arnautovic: 64.7%

Meanwhile, despite the impressive win against Chelsea, Spurs assets are still not very much owned yet among the top managers. Harry Kane is actually the Spurs player with the most effective ownership of just 2.85%.

Arsenal players are in the same boat with Alexandre Lacazette (3.17% EO) and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (2.98%) being their most owned players. The two teams actually face one another in the most important derby this week but will have favourable fixtures in December.

How much their ownership is going to go up in the coming weeks is yet to be seen, but many big hitters (Salah, Hazard, Aguero etc) might be on borrowed times in top 10k manager teams if they keep underperforming given their high prices.

Morning all. Any early thoughts/ suggestions for my best route to Kane(c) would very much appreciated.
    2FT 0.3ITB. (WC available)

    Patricio (Foster)
    Alonso Roberton Pereira AWB (Doherty)
    Salah Hazard Richarlison Fraser (Camarasa)
    Aguero Arnautovic (Jimenez)

    A. Hazard Jimenez > 4.7 Kane
    B. Hazard Arnie > 5.9 Kane
    C. Hazard Kun > Sané/Spurs mid + Kane
    D. Kun Fraser > Kane Brooks
    E. Kun Pereira > Kane 4.2
    F. Kun Salah > Kane Sterling
    G. Kun Haz Foster > Kane Eriksen Lloris (-4)
    (GK's have CHE/MCI this wk 🙁 )

I have the same front 7 as you, but Cairney instead of Camarasa, 2FT and I also want Kane (c)

      Not A, that's a formation change
Not B, losing Arnie with those fixtures is madness imo
      Not C, keep Hazard
D can work, a bit sideways though and I think Fraser is more nailed than Brooks
E can work for bench fodder
F - I am considering this one. I think Sterling will play the majority of games, he can take up false 9 position when Aguero is subbed, Liverpool have 3 away games in the next 4 and Man United at home, plus are not last years attacking force.
G: Nah, not for a hit

I think E if you want to keep Salah
I think F for the major change in team direction

"They conceded 2 against Saints.." logic doesn't make sense. They won't approach the Chelsea game the way they did against Southampton. Against Saints, they were playing for 3 points so it's obvious they were gonna have a go at it.

It wasn't the 2 goals but the countless other chances they conceded. Ranieri can organise a team well but they didn't look organised vs Saints. They have struggled to look organised in any game so far this season. I think Chelsea could do really well.

          1. My Name Is Pepu
            • 7 Years

Just the first game under Ranieri and they would have spent more time together by the time they face Chelsea. It's obvious for Hazard cappers/owners to expect a haul but IMO it's going to be a tight game and I wouldn't expect Hazard to do much if Morata starts yet again.

You may well be right. I would probably change it if I had the chance again. I think the most he will be involved in is 1 goal. The best AWB will get is a clean sheet. Similar ceiling. I would say both eventualities are fairly even.

Southampton such a plum fixture. After which a switch to D Silva is aways an option

That said I think Everton have a plum one that GW too - likely want to bounce back from a horrible derby defeat - lol

Agreed, just feel double spurs could be a decent differential, got Richarlison for Everton fix and still don’t want to drop Salah as he is just too consistent!

Morning dzzz, early thoughts here? Have 2FT and will WC in gw17

    Patricio — Foster
Alonso Digne Schindler — Doherty Awb
Salah Haz Rich Martial —- camarasa
    Jimenez Arnie Kun

A: Salah + Jimenez >> Fraser + Kane but I think salah will score big vs Burnley
B: Martial + Aguero >> Fraser + Kane..I keep Salah but it also means starting Jimenez against Chelsea.

Also, I am not keen on starting Patricio against Chelsea. Worth doing Patricio > Fabianski (-4)? For two gameweeks?

True but one is Watford - pool didn’t play well the other day and still put 3 past them

          Personally I can’t see past

          Salah > sterling
          Kun > Kane

But I’ll be gutted if salah hauls against Burnley

Is now the time to do away with the fodder 8th attacker and prepare for the December rotation with stronger benches? Can get Kane in for Kamara if I downgrade Hazard to Son but would generate a weekly benching headache...

    Ryan
    Alonso Robertson Doherty Balbuena AWB
    Sterling Sane Son Richarlison Fraser
    Kane Arnautovic Wilson

With that setup, 8th player will probably be required every now and then.

I'm planning to switch to 7 men attack if Lacazzete is required, otherwise going to stick with Jimenez as 8th attacking player.

No Arsenal is going to be a lot of people’s mistake in the coming weeks.

Kane is too much for my liking. Good fixtures or not, it’s just like Salah, he’ll score but at the cost of getting a better balanced team.

Good idea although Fraser and Wilson still have tricky fixtures so instantly limited on rotation- I’ve got them both too, it’s tough to know what to do with them, but there are 3 games where I don’t want to play either

Perhaps relieve the headache by downgrading Fraser to a 4.5m with decent fixtures and also gives 1m plus to strengthen elsewhere as needed.

Kane is pretty much the same as Salah for me and I don’t see the point of people ditching Salah to fund Kane. Overpriced for what they’re actually delivering this season.

I’m wildcarding in the next few weeks and the one I’m looking at is Aubameyang. Easily capable of outscoring Kane over this period and equally as good fixtures.

One or both of Haz and Salah can go, but likely the only Spurs asset I’ll have is Trippier. Likely to assist a fair portion of Kane’s goals and less than half his price.

I guess the main thing about Kane is he is a great captain option over the next month, same can’t be said for salah after Burnley - maybe Newcastle but that’s it

This is true, but imo just get Sterling and Auba and you really can captain and vc them every week, comfortably knowing you will get hauls from them.

I like Kane but I don’t like £12.3m when I can pay less for pretty much the same or better.

Seriously, I’m jumping all over Aubameyang when I WC. Quite happy to let the masses all go try and squeeze in Kane instead.

I am thinking about going Son rather thon Kane on a WC for at least the dec/jan period.
There Reasonning behind this is that first I have been amazed by Son sharpness against CHE. Plus, he is fresher than the rest of the team bar Alli.
Also, I believe ALL spurs will be rotated and when kane will be Son will play as a lone FW.
with eriksen on going problem I think the dane will be the most rotated asset actually.
Finally, 4M price difference is so much value you can invest by upgrading a 6M to a city MID or two 4.5 to two 6.5 def that I can’t see how kane could outscore this compares to son

I have two free transfer, so I need to make at least one transfer before the midweek deadline. I have two things in mind (still got my wildcard to correct the errors I will make during Christmas):

    a; Doherty + Jiménez -> Schindler + Mitrovic
b: McDonald -> Gunnarsson (and have two free transfers next week)

    Ederson
    Doherty, Robertson, Alonso
    Richarlison, Hazard, Fraser, Salah

I'm pretty set on doing Laporte and Kun -> Schindler and Kane this week, I want Kane for this fixture run and Schindler rotates well with my other 2 cheapies.

Question is who to move Maddison to at max 9.5:

    I'm looking at:

    A. Sane
    B. D Silva
    C. Alli

Already have Sterling for a city mid.
