Following the match, Pochettino said of Kane: "It's very, very sad. It's going to be tough and we're going to miss him - maybe for the rest of the season."

Any opinions appreciated. How does this look on WC?

    Foster/Ryan
    TAA/Kola/Duffy/Doherty/Valery
    Sterling/Mane/Eriksen/Deulofeu/JWP
    Kun/Laca/Jimi

Arsenal picks and Sterling not for me. Cannot see Sterling starting next.

I was considering Hazard in place of Sterling or maybe Son and upgrade elsewhere but I think Son is just as likely to be rested GW34 and Haz has Liverpool so maybe either transfer can be done for GW35... hard to imagine Sterling not starting 3 in a row.

Arsenal have good fixtures and the games are important so I think that could work, it is a bit of a gamble though

But Kola has nicer fixtures than Laporte and better attacking potential. It would mean a big downgrade elsewhere as well as I only have 0.1ITB

    Thoughts on this?
    Ryan ,(Foster)
    Robertson, Duffy, Doherty,(Valery, Catchart)
    Eriksen, Son, Sterling, Salah, Camarasa
    Auba, Murray (Jimi)

Plan to swap Camarasa and Murray to Deeney and JWP for -4 next week

Got a question would you take 4 points with the chance of more or 2 points with the chance of more that's what dgw defence players have, midfield players and forwards have trusting a goal is scored against them I understand depending on games but seems a no brainer to me

Got a question? Would you take 4 points with the chance of more, or 2 points with the chance of more? That's what DGW defence, midfield and forward players have. Trusting a goal is scored against them, I understand, depending on ..... no, I just can't work out what you mean, sorry.

'Got a question. Would you rather have 4 appearance points (DGW players) from your defenders (providing they only concede once), midfielders and forwards with the chance of more or just 2 with the chance of more (SGW players)? All dependant on game time of course but seems a no-grainer to me.'

I think so yes. I think it's with regard to people selecting single gameweek players over doubles. Like why not get fifteen DGW players for bench boost

      • 8 Years
      5 years, 2 months ago

But then what difference does the players position make? Yes 2 gw is better than 1... what does the rest of the question mean? I've wasted 20 minutes on this now. I give up.

I think Robbo's probably worth the money over TAA for the safety, especially with Gomez back fit I reckon TAA will miss a game. Obv depends what you can do with the money though.

Not sold on Sterling at this very second. Also played full 90 tonight, although if Bernado out, could force him starting.

Aguero... Still not completely sold on having him, but it makes sense for the moment.

Bench isn't too bad so if he's benched, he's benched.

Spot on. I'm 50-50 on a Liv triple up too, got Mane and Robbo already but cant decide between Duffy + TAA or Dunk + Laporte.

I'm edging towards the latter as I think with Gomez back and so many games TAA will get rotated in the easier PL fixtures.

Triple up of Ryan, Duffy and Murray. This will end in tears.

    BBC quotes

On Harry Kane's injury: "We need to check tomorrow but looks like it is the same ankle and similar injury. It is very sad and very disappointing. We are going to miss him - maybe for the rest of the season. It is a worry for us. We hope it is not a big issue. But there is not to much time to recover. He twisted his ankle so we will see how it reacts in a few hours."

Yeh so basically just wait for confirmation. May not be as bad as we think yet.

With KAne out this should be my WC and dont know what to think tbh

    Lloris-Foster
    Duffy-Dunk-VVD-Bednarek-Doherty
    Docoure-JWP-Salah-Son-Eriksen
    Lacazette-Aguero-Jimenez

    0.2 ITB

Only dilemma is Lacazette and Docoure or Martial and Deeney...

Best defender for 5.8m for DGW35? Others (currently) are Lloris, Ryan, TAA, Robbo, Jonny, Chilwell. Not on WC.
