Son and Trippier benched as Eriksen starts for Spurs

Son Heung-min (£8.7m) and Kieran Trippier (£6.0m) are among the benched players for Spurs in their Double Gameweek 34 fixture.

With already-relegated Huddersfield coming to north London, Mauricio Pochettino has taken this opportunity to start Fernando Llorente (£5.1m) and Kyle Walker-Peters (£4.2m) in their place.

Christian Eriksen (£9.3m) has held onto his place in the side and without Trippier should have a greater involvement in set pieces.

Also, with Son on the bench and Harry Kane (£12.6m) injured, it is possible the Danish international could be taking the penalties too.

Ben Davies (£5.6m) comes in for Danny Rose (£5.8m) at left-back, while Juan Foyth (£5.0m) starts alongside Jan Vertonghen (£5.9m) and Davinson Sánchez (£5.8m) so that Toby Alderweireld (£6.0m) can have a rest on the bench.

Huddersfield have lined themselves up in a 4-5-1 formation with Karlan Grant (£5.0m) leading the line. He has two goals in his last two away trips.

Chris Löwe (£4.4m) and Jon Stankovic (£3.9m) are both playing out of position in midfield.

Spurs XI: Lloris, Walker-Peters, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Foyth, Davies, Sissoko, Eriksen, Moura, Wanyama, Llorente

Huddersfield XI: Hamer; Durm, Kongolo, Schindler, Hadergjonaj; Löwe, Stankovic, Hogg, Bacuna, Kachunga; Grant.

Looks great, quality facilities and banging atmosphere.

One thing that is not yet perfect. Disabled away fans cant get a decent view, they need to fix it.

Last minute change of Vert to Tripp was unwise. The former was too boring on a WC though.

Count how Huddersfield players are behind the ball and around the box. It's going to be tricky for spurs.

It's actually impressive how Huddersfield are able to break on the counter given the numbers they commit to defending deep. They're playing well.

Yepp. But as a Son (C) I was hoping they put this game to
bed early so he wont get a cameo, and I get Duffy (C)

Surely Son was the right decision. Im not too fussed i’m sure he gets a run out sooner rather than later if 0-0. Poch wont hang around

Exactly sir, with Kane out he was a must have, the circumstances were just unfortunate to be fair. It wasn’t a huge shock

Would need to get to 0-0 half-time I think, even then it could just be 20/30 mins - not convinced

It’s ok, Poch picked a strong team because he took this game / getting a top for finish seriously. Oh wait...

Watching this game hoping for a Son 1pointer. Is this a more fantasy football reason to watch a game or the 90 minute hope of a Brighton clean sheet later?

Llorente with a Lukakuesque attempt at control and gets rewarded with an assist.
