How to handle Liverpool’s blank and the Christmas period

The Scoutcast returns to familiar ground ahead of Gameweek 18 where Liverpool and West Ham have no Premier League fixture.

The latest episode starts at 20:00 GMT on our YouTube channel and runs until approximately 21:00 GMT.

We started thinking about our plans for the first Blank Gameweek of the campaign in last week’s episode and are able to take a much more focussed look now that Gameweek 17 is out of the way.

Joe, Karam and Andy will reveal their plans for Liverpool assets as Sadio Mané (£12.3m), Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.3m) and Mohamed Salah (£12.2m) are all without a match.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are proving a problem for Fantasy managers as they have now lost two favourable fixtures in a row, scoring just once in the process.

    Any iPhone users here?

    Am using the Safari browser for all FPL stuff. When I get to the Transfer page and click Player List, I always encounter scrolling issues like it gets stuck in the middle of scrolling down.

    The temporary fix was to tap the clock/ time area so it scrolls back up and allows the scrolling up and down again after. But it comes back.

    How did you fix yours?

        Never like the app. Wasn’t easy to browse at things and transfer players. Used to the normal browsers.

      I’m the same. That top banner area with all the tabs, when you scroll down, that banner sometimes catches and you can’t scroll down anymore, just swipe up on that banner section and it’ll scroll the page down.

        That’s what I did to solve that but only temporary. If you refresh the page or come back to the page whenever, the problem comes back.

        Just want to see if there is a permanent resolution.

    Odd seeing so many productive in-form players being transferred out. I have a lot of value tied up in Mane and Maddison, so I don't want to lose them, especially since they will score a lot of points over the course of the season. Still, I feel like I may need to do something.

    I don't really get the hype around Aurier. Spurs haven't been good defensively yet, even though they have good fixtures. And Aurier can sometimes feel like a red card waiting to happen.
