Recapping the best Wolves players ahead of FPL restart

Wolves are offering a healthy number of viable assets for Fantasy Premier League managers, regardless of their chip strategy.

The next few weeks mean that their players could help out those Free Hitting or Bench Boosting in Double Gameweek 30+ or planning for the long-term.

We are currently recapping which players went into the coronavirus (COVID-19) suspension in the best form, using each club’s last six matches for the analysis.

We have also been assessing the impact of recently appointed new managers in the Premier League, so this series covers the other 15 sides, concluding with Wolves.

As we are sure you understand, a lot has changed since the climax of Gameweek 29, with Premier League players unable to fully train with their team-mates for nearly three months. 

However, it should still serve to know who was performing best before the break.

As this article uses data from the Fantasy Football Scout Members Area, only those signed up to a valid package can access it in full.

      Tbh, they will have to play whenever bench is in good shape rather than choosing when to play now. Unless they plan for it & WC afterwards for cleaning up the bench ££ which might be required

                  I am not planning FH tbh.
                  I am not sure about which striker as well mate. That's why actually i am getting Aguero so that I will be have some information before committing to a striker.

                  Jimenez is out of range atm if i decide to get Son. But he's only 0.5m away so i can squeeze some ££ in for that too. Let's see how it goes.

                    I’m probably going to use the FH but I’m not convinced with the DGW options outside Sheff Utd Defence and City attack.

                    My current team is With only the FH chip remaining.

    Pope (WAT).
    TAA (CRY), Maguire (SHU), Saiss (BOU).
    KDB (che), Fernandes (SHU), Salah (CRY), Barnes (BHA).
    Auba (sou), Jota (BOU), DCL (nor).
    Stek, Stephens, Holgate, Dendoncker.
    3.2m ITB.
    WC, FH, BB left.

    Option A- BB this week with unlimited transfers.
    Squad will be spread out and change the majority of my squad.
    Most people are going with this strategy it seems.

    Option B- FH this GW. Keep my current team for next GW.
    Good fixtures for most of my current team next GW and plenty of players I am happy to keep atm.
    FH team something like-
    Hendo.
    Lundstram, Stevens, Bellerin, Doherty.
    Sterling, KDB, Grealish, Mount.
    Auba, Aguero,
    Subs. Samatta, Cantwell, fodder.

    As much as I'm an Arsenal fan, I think I have just talked myself into avoiding Arsenal players entirely for the DGW - even Auba. Personally I don't see us scoring more than one against City. And the Brighton defense is great at home, plus they already beat us this year so they will be a lot more confident in getting a result.

    Not to mention our games are only 3 days apart and Auba could easily be rotated. And although Arteta seems optimistic about Auba's contract extension he must be frustrated that the club hasn't done anything yet, and that could affect how he plays.

    TLDR - Can't see Auba returning in both games and I would go without.

      I don't know about your gameplay, but since i am not playing a chip j am looking at next 3/4 gw's. And Auba has wonderful fixtures. So i have gone with him. Can sell afterwards for any striker available in the game

      “Away” and “Home” under Covid may not be anything like what they were previously...

      BUT

      It can’t be overstated just how much Salah has visibly had a habit this season of only performing away from home if Mané wasn’t on the pitch

      When Mané played, he generally saved his hauls for Anfield:

      Salah away 5.1 PPA (62 points, 12 apps)
      Salah home 8.9 PPA (124 points, 14 apps)
      Salah with no Mané 11.6 PPA (58 points, 5 apps)
      Salah with Mane 5.9 PPA (130 points, 22 apps)

      But when Mané didn’t play, home or away became close to irrelevant - Mo just flipped almost instantly back into 300-points-a-season mode (11.6 PPA without Sadio there to share the limelight)

      If we knew 100% that Sterling will start both then Id prefer B

      However, Auba just seems like a safer pick so I guess it depends if you feel like gambling
