Fantasy Football Scout voted as ‘best editorial’ at Football Content Awards 2020

Fantasy Football Scout has been voted as the ‘best editorial’ in Fantasy Football for 2020.

That’s according to the Football Content Awards who revealed the results at a virtual ceremony on Tuesday, December 8.

The competition in our category was fierce with Athletic columnist FPL General, Premier Injuries’ Ben Dinnery, Fantasy Football Fix and Fantasy Football Hub.

Delighted Fantasy Football Scout editor David Munday said: “It is a great honour to receive this award.

“FFS is dedicated to providing high-quality, industry-leading content for Fantasy managers worldwide and it is wonderful to see that recognised by the football community.

“I would like to thank our incredible roster of contributors who regularly submit insightful articles as well as my hard-working deputy editor Neale Rigg. I strongly believe his Kanté-esque graft in midfield is the secret to our success.

“And, of course, full credit goes out to our readers and members who make all of this possible with their unerring support to FFS.”

That's a possibility I just fancy Wilson against wba and Fulham then switch to Bamford for his 2 easy fixtures during Christmas and Liverpool have easy fixtures so matip offers clean sheet and goal threat

Can Fantasy Football Scout stop promoting gambling websites? Do they care how destructive gambling is to people's lives? It's disgraceful to indirectly make a profit from this

Agree, Also feel like people who are addicted to FPL are more likely to fall into the trap of gambling.

Definitely. Especially this football index. It's just a massive scam. You are trading thin air basically.

I started football index long before FFS started promoting it due to an offer it had via matched betting and the recommendation of a friend. I've nearly doubled my investment stake in a year and a bit having just bought several players and letting it ride.

Basically I look at it the same way as investing in stocks but in football... you can just hold for long term and make a consistent return. It doesn't really feel like gambling when you are doing that.

Many use Fantasy Football, including this site, as an alternative to destructive gambling. I was sickened when FPL General started promoting a betting firm on the intro to his 59th minute pod...that was the start of it unfortunately 🙁

    B) chilwell + Burno > James + Salah

Which is the best way to get Salah?I prefer to have Vardy for the next two fixtures over Werner but not enough money without taking a hit.

    McCarthy
    Targett/Coufal/James
    Son/Grealish/Ziyech*/Kdb
    Werner/Vardy/Dcl

    Steer/Pva/McCarthy/Douglas

GTG? Had a pretty sucky score for GW11 (Mahrez(c))

    GW12 (team linked)
    Martinez (Johnstone)
    Chilwell Zouma Creswell (Webster) (Mitchell)
    Grealish Son Bruno Salah(c) Jota
    DCL Wilson (Watkins)

And a special thanks to the chap who said Vestegaard was a crap decision for last week. My 1st season so listened to you rather than my own research. Caveat Emptor! 😉

    Martinez
    Chilwell Konsa Kilman

    DCL Abraham

or Bamford allows Matip great fixtures

        1FT, 0.1 ITB

        Chillwell Lamptey Cancelo (Taylor, Mitchell)
        KDB Bruno Son Grealish (Burke)

          3 years, 4 months ago

I'd lose Vardy for Salah if that works?
and if you need to lose a prem mid then Son for 2-3 weeks

  12. Bob B
    • 10 Years
    3 years, 4 months ago

How does this sound with 2FT available,
If Newcastle gets the go ahead and Wilson isn't ruled out,
DCL to Wilson, save the other transfer.

Keep Jota for Fulham and then move out for Grealish.
Other transfer available in case of fires, if none McCarthy to Martinez.

Looks like Bamford, Son and James are about to price rise.

This Fulham game has the hallmarks of Mane being the one to explode...i was toying with the idea of doing a KDB hokey cokey but think going Mane for a differential when I know it's a 1 week punt anyway might be a risk worth taking.

agree think mane could have a big game - would you captain him though this week?
i brought back salah so i'm not priced out in the near future

Yeah, I thought that when I capped Mahrez this week....

You say that but Mahrez had an incredible game and was unlucky not to come away with returns. The same could happen to Mane ofc but sometimes these risks do pay off.

I know, right!?! Even got the 1 x BP. Think it's an easier risk to take if you're in front rather than behind. (started GW4)

If you already have Salah, it makes sense but I'd never understand going with Mane over Salah when Salah is the better option in expected points. It is too early in the season to go for differentials just for the sake of it in my opinion.

If Newcastle were going to postpone the game it would be announced right? Want to get Bamford now before price rise... but minor worry that Newcastle Leeds gets postponed. I guess it's a low chance

They opened training field, so they are likely to play atm imo.

Cheers, agree. I've lost so much value this season so I think I'm getting Bamford now. Small risk worth taking

Have a feeling unless the Man Utd board are deluded by their league position, Man City will slap United big time and Ole could get the sack.

Rodriguez & Vardy to Salah (c) & Welbeck for -4 worth it?

Max I can go on a striker is 5.5 as I have 0 ITB.

can't see how wellbeck is a viable playing option
if you're not starting everyweek then bank the cash with brewster

Bissouma is my 5th midfielder and I do have Mitchell too.

Don’t see a viable way to get Salah without taking out KDB or Son, and I’m not prepared to do that.

          That’s fair enough
I value Salah over Son but if you keep Son thru these fixtures then you’ll just have to forego Salah. Simply can’t have them all

    Best Ziyech replacement?

Already have Salah, KDB & can't afford Bruno. Could stretch to Son if I did DCL > Adams. (-4) so looking at other options.
