Fantasy Football Scout voted as ‘best editorial’ at Football Content Awards 2020

Fantasy Football Scout has been voted as the ‘best editorial’ in Fantasy Football for 2020.

That’s according to the Football Content Awards who revealed the results at a virtual ceremony on Tuesday, December 8.

The competition in our category was fierce with Athletic columnist FPL General, Premier Injuries’ Ben Dinnery, Fantasy Football Fix and Fantasy Football Hub.

Delighted Fantasy Football Scout editor David Munday said: “It is a great honour to receive this award.

“FFS is dedicated to providing high-quality, industry-leading content for Fantasy managers worldwide and it is wonderful to see that recognised by the football community.

“I would like to thank our incredible roster of contributors who regularly submit insightful articles as well as my hard-working deputy editor Neale Rigg. I strongly believe his Kanté-esque graft in midfield is the secret to our success.

“And, of course, full credit goes out to our readers and members who make all of this possible with their unerring support to FFS.”

      I still like Lamptey more. Dallas' goal was pretty flukey, and Leeds are back to conceding a lot. At best it seems pretty lateral to me.

        He's fun to watch and has so much potential but not getting the FPL pts. Last match watching him NOT attempt to beat Vestergaard one on one made me want to transfer him out. He has the pace, but not the confidence to take people on. Has not recorded an assist since GW 3.

          The chances he gets are clear headers. He won't get many of those but when he does, he is likely to score. If the xG is low for the chances he got, it's just a flaw of the stat. It doesn't take into factors such as how tall the player is, how much he is being challenged when taking the header and how balanced the player taking the shot (or header in this case) is.

    Anyone who plays UCL fantasy knows what's gonna happen with subs this GW? Game is still locked. Perhaps it will remain locked and we won't be able to make manual substitutions this GW?

    Only similar scenario I can remember was the Galatasaray-Juventus match in 2014 but that was played around noon the next day; timing of the kick-off complicates it further for this one.

      Without VVD I doubt it. Take a look at Liverpool vs. Chelsea defensive stats in the members' area. Granted Liverpool fixtures are better, but James is also more attacking.

    Dcl out for Bamford.
    Made 0.5 on him and got lots of points but it's time to downgrade and get the money into midfield.Could be a mistake but he who dares and all that.

        Looking at his scores he rarely gets more than 6 points. He isn't captain material and fixtures aren't great. Isn't getting the same service without Digne either.I hope Bamford can match him.

      Vardy to fodder and Bissouma to Son work? Although probs wise to keep Vardy for Brighton. I got rid of him to find KDB in so he’ll probably go and haul now haha

    Thinking to get Son in....
    a. DCL Soucek Dias => Brewster Son 4.5 and move to a 3-5-2

      I like the 352 option, but I’m bias as that’s mine, be a shame to lose DCL I guess but I can see myself possibly losing him in near GW’s too.
