Mitrovic and Cairney return for Fulham as Wilson leads Newcastle attack

Scott Parker has recalled Aleksandar Mitrovic (£5.5m) and Tom Cairney (£5.3m) to the Fulham line-up for their Gameweek 14 trip to Newcastle.

The two players have not started a match together since Gameweek 8 although the Cottagers have improved in their absence, picking up a win and two draws since Gameweek 9.

Bobby De Cordova-Reid (£5.3m) and Ruben Loftus-Cheek (£5.9m) are the men to make way as Ivan Cavaleiro (£5.3m) returns to the flanks of attacking midfield.

Accordingly, Mitrović and Cairney have reclaimed their centre-forward and number 10 roles respectively.

The main Fantasy Premier League interest tonight, of course, is in Callum Wilson (£6.6m), currently owned by 17.4% of managers worldwide.

The former Bournemouth man has averaged six points per game since returning from injury, although Fulham’s defence has improved in that time, conceding just three goals against Manchester City and Liverpool combined.

Newcastle United XI: Darlow; Dummett, Clark, Fernández, Yedlin; Ritchie, Shelvey, S Longstaff, Almirón; Joelinton, C Wilson.

Fulham XI: Areola; A Robinson, Andersen, Adarabioyo, Aina; Zambo Anguissa, Lemina; Lookman, Cairney, Cavaleiro; Mitrović.

Annoys the hell out of me. He completed 5 passes in the game. How is that even possible for some that played 90 minutes.

The Salah leak actually was good for owners, as it meant less who were going to get him in did, unless you sold due to it.

Was def good for me as he wasn't even in my top 2 captain picks. Kane was always no1 despite his blank tomorrow.

That Liverpool palace game was ludicrous. Some of those finishes were outrageous. Guaita didn't make a single save. One blocked shot on target and the other seven all went in. Never seen anything like it.

I’m thinking the same hammered last GW and struggling against 10 man Fulham, Newcastle seem like best points bounty. It’ll be tough putting Son off for one more week but think it’s the sensible option

Wolves away could be tricky for Spurs, but on the other hand if anyone is scoring for them in that game it'll be Son. But KDB much safer.

IF Agüero starts, which he could, they could score a few. Even so, Newcastle are bad so I'd expect 3-0 at least. But in any case Salah will be captain, just don't think selling KDB is a good idea.

Which scores more in GW15 only? Bear in mind KDB has a GW16 fixture on Monday 28th Dec after GW15 on Saturday 26th, while Son and Robbo have an extra day's rest (Sun 27th to Wed 30th).

    A. KDB (NEW) and Coufal (BHA)

Cheers mate! I don't think KDB will be benched, but I think he could get subbed around the hour mark, especially if they are already 2+ goals ahead.

I will get Son and Robbo by GW16 either way. The question is just whether to get them for GW15 when it means losing KDB for Newcastle.

Those BGW28 fixtures are mostly rubbish. Can’t bring myself to FH it when I have, or can easily get, the Spurs, City & a select few others I’d like using some FT’s between now and then.

FH 19 and build a dream XI without having to worry about ditching a SGWer you’ll only want back after that week.

104.0 team value atm. The repeat of the same players hauling week in week out will make someone who BB around gw35 to have a 4-5 mil more expensive team than someone who BB gw19. For example someone could own Son instead of Soucek...
