Mark Sutherns is back alongside Andy North for another Premium Members-only chat to kick off Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Gameweek 10.

Mark is recording for our subscribers every Gameweek throughout the upcoming campaign, so sign up via this link in order to see his regular appearances.

This week, Mark has hit the Wildcard button and is refreshing his team ahead of Saturday’s deadline. Meanwhile, Andy is looking to pick himself up after the red arrow served by Mohamed Salah’s (£12.9m) merciless Old Trafford hat-trick.

The pair go over Andy’s ill-fated Kai Havertz (£8.1m) captaincy, before assessing their chances ahead of the new Gameweek.

    Kovacic + Vardy ---> Firmino + Mount (-4)?

    Brought in Vardy for a hit (-4) last week, but might have to bite the bullet on this one.
    He could haul v Arsenal, but the other two might do well and probs better longer term.

        This week is not great as both Dennis and Kovacic is out, with Duffy (MCI - a) as 3rd sub.
        Gray (WOL - a) probs wouldn't score highly either.
        Only had 0.6 ITB.

        They can, but more net transfers out are required before they do so.
        And they will later have their price locked if their flag goes directly from red to green.

    Are there only really 2 main types of FPL players or way more?

    Slow and Steady Approach
    Don't take a hit unless it is very very necessary

    Attack the GW Approach
    Take a hit almost every week at the risk of losing points

      imho no, most serious players are a mixture of the two and play steady with 6 or 7 players but strike with hits when the iron is hot and a chance arises.

          When our squad is settled we are happy to stick with it and let it run a bit, tinkering on the sides. Then we get a fixture swing

            I think we have different styles at different stages of the season depending upon circumstances, but I am not sure you can label it and put it in a box

    I’m wavering on Vardy starting this week and I have a FT so might move him.

    Can afford anyone up to 11.9 - but would prefer to go down than up.
