Nottm Forest v West Ham team news: Awoniyi makes first start

Gameweek 2 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) continues on Sunday with Nottingham Forest v West Ham United at The City Ground.

Kick-off is at 14:00 BST.

Steve Cooper makes two changes to his starting XI, with Orel Mangala and Taiwo Awoniyi coming in for their first Forest starts, replacing Jack Colback and Sam Surridge.

The latter drops to the bench while Colback is missing from the squad.

Centre-back Scott McKenna is fit despite sustaining an injury in training and starts alongside Joe Worrall and Moussa Niakhate at the back in Cooper’s 3-4-1-2 formation.

Neco Williams, meanwhile, is the most-selected player in this fixture and is owned by 26.9 per cent overall, although he’ll be rooted to the bench for many.

For the visitors, new signings Maxwel Cornet and Gianluca Scamacca are both substitutes.

In the starting XI, Lukasz Fabianski overcomes an injury to feature in goal, with David Moyes’ only change arriving in midfield, as Said Benrahma comes in for Manuel Lanzini.

Cucurella starting today doesnt confirm anything, it's just because Chilwell is still building up fitness right?

Chillwel is 90 minutes away from being sidelined again. Cucurella is too expensive to sit on the bench plus he can run 90 minutes no problem.

agree but Chilwell cost them a bit as well, Chilwell LWB Cucu LCB will probably come thru a lot of games

Still at 5.0 even if he plays CB some games he could be worth a spot

Gonna be far less bench jam this season with 5 subs. I'd imagine a fair few would be getting Neco for Bailey otherwise!

Who's the best 4.5 GK in your opinion - Raya, Sanchez, Henderson?

I don't think Meslier, Rodak/Leno or Pickford will keep as many clean sheets and I don't wanna rely on save points every week. I started with LEI combo and I instantly regretted it.

Those fixtures look great but Brentford are not a solid side defensively. Sánchez is the better pick.

Sanchez/Ward make a pretty solid GK duo. Some games Ward will get the nod. 8.5 Total GK points for two good options.

For all the pre-season hype Neto has gotten you'd think he's the second coming of Messi. Both disappointed so far but one costs 0.5 more. I know they'll bounce back at some point but so far it's been a shitshow.

    2 FT, 0.0 ITB

    Sánchez // Ward
Trent Robertson Cancelo James // Williams
Salah Saka Neto Bailey // Andreas
    Haaland Jesus // Archer

I’m happy to keep most of my team (despite Saka, Neto and Liverpool defence disappointing so far). Want Bailey out though and hoping to switch to 5-3-2.

A: Williams and Bailey โžก๏ธ Tomiyasu and Dasilva
B: Williams and Bailey โžก๏ธ 4.5 defender (Saliba/White/Dunk/Fofana) and Lavia

Cucurella one to watch today. Tuchel’s comments suggest Chilwell will receive similar treatment as he did with Alonso last season (albeit for different reasons). Champions league might give Chilwell opportunities.

Transfers are precious but Trippier > Cucerella is on.

I don't want to pee in anyones porridge but

15 minutes or so x 38 = 570 minutes lost this season on Haaland.

Whereas Salah as a cap, Son, Jesus and Kane are likely to play more minutes. We could throw in KDB if he starts and plays majority of the time.

I don't think I want to lose that many minutes on a 11.5 player when capping him, 75 minutes, did not see the ball, got an asdist is a waste of cap tbf.

Not every game will be the same but 75 minutes will.

It's still early days for Haaland. Adjusting in a new team and league will take some time and with new subs rule he might be subbed early but he's as nailed as any can be in a Pep team.

Does anyone need advice from an expert who wildcards after one week? Imagine taking anything you said seriously a week ago!

It is astonishing that Haaland only touched the ball about a ten times in 70ish minutes when we all thought he was nailed on for a 4 goal mega haul and captain points galore. That day will come soon enough, though. He can do sufficient damage in half an hour to warrant captaincy really, but I get Foo Fighter's point about the 90 minute playing alternatives.

Verdict I feel still open as Haaland still gaining match fitness - Good point made - however, early season mins time on pitch so hard to tell - yesterday game won - rest/ players as they become stronger each week - how many minutes did Haaland play each week in Germany!

Do a shot every time Harry says "err" you'd be smashed, if not dead in an interview that lasts less than two minutes.
