FPL Gameweek 6: Saturday’s goals, assists, bonus and statistics

The Scoreboard presents all the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) numbers you need from Saturday’s matches all on one screen.

As well as LiveFPL‘s rundown of the goals, assists and bonus points from the day’s FPL action, we’re bringing you a selection of the Opta stats that arrive in our Premium Members Area almost immediately after full-time in each fixture.

Ivan Toney (£7.1m) was the top-scoring player of the day with a Haaland-esque 17-point haul, while Aleksandar Mitrovic (£6.8m) and Harry Kane (£11.4m) made it six attacking returns in as many matches with goals in Tottenham Hotspur’s win over Fulham.

Erling Haaland (£11.9m) hit the 10-goal mark after scoring in Manchester City’s draw with Aston Villa, meanwhile.

Budget defender Neco Williams (£4.1m) also popped up with an assist in Nottingham Forest’s 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth, while Kieran Trippier (£5.1m) inched his way into second in the FPL defenders’ points table with another clean sheet.

They were rare success stories on a pretty grim day for well-owned FPL assets such as Mohamed Salah (£13.0m), Luis Diaz (£8.2m), Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.5m), Andrew Robertson (£6.8m), Marc Cucurella (£5.2m), Reece James (£6.0m), Ivan Perisic (£5.6m), Dejan Kulusevski (£8.2m), Joao Cancelo (£7.1m) and Son Heung-min (£11.7m), who all blanked.

Our usual Scout Notes article, which summarises more of the main FPL talking points, notable manager quotes and injury news in extraa detail, will follow.

I think it's skewed by Liverpool's poor form. James and Cancelo have returned 3 out of 6 games

yeah, 'big at the back' wasn't a universal trend, it rested entirely on 4-6 individual premium wing backs. sketchy form for more than a couple of them renders it (probably temporarily) ineffective.

Chelsea CS potential i question, with the depth they have, they struggle to keep teams out. Tuchel has been found out.

Liverpool, get a pass, with their injuries, and expect an improvement

City have kept 3 CS in 6 games. So 50% success rate and Cancelo has scored and assisted

Arsenal have kept 2 CS in 5, and most of their Defenders are cheap

I can see an argument to go 3-4-3 or 4-3-3

      1. Josh.E

Tbh I don’t feel the value in these premium defenders I am tempted to switch to the cheapest starting defender of every top team instead and beef up my attack, James, Cancelo and Trent, in the 6m-7m, all being out scored by similar price ranges in attack and midfield this season. I just don’t fancy it anymore, even Perisic isn’t a guaranteed a starting spot every week, have to really reassess this week. Disastrous

Not at all, the team is fine.

I have 5 out of 6 cap decisions.

If Darwin did not get sent off GW2, Liverpool would be leading the League.

I played my WC in GW1 and the Darwin red card was unfortunate but now that I have him back, I want to spice my team up when WC will be burned this week.

Fair ... the impression of aggressive hits sounds like forced to take hits

I think you are right. Can’t understand resting Robbo against Everton.

Robbo has not had a great start to the season. Had to start Tsimikas who has arguably played better whenever he has got a chance
