FPL Gameweek 6: Saturday’s goals, assists, bonus and statistics

The Scoreboard presents all the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) numbers you need from Saturday’s matches all on one screen.

As well as LiveFPL‘s rundown of the goals, assists and bonus points from the day’s FPL action, we’re bringing you a selection of the Opta stats that arrive in our Premium Members Area almost immediately after full-time in each fixture.

Ivan Toney (£7.1m) was the top-scoring player of the day with a Haaland-esque 17-point haul, while Aleksandar Mitrovic (£6.8m) and Harry Kane (£11.4m) made it six attacking returns in as many matches with goals in Tottenham Hotspur’s win over Fulham.

Erling Haaland (£11.9m) hit the 10-goal mark after scoring in Manchester City’s draw with Aston Villa, meanwhile.

Budget defender Neco Williams (£4.1m) also popped up with an assist in Nottingham Forest’s 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth, while Kieran Trippier (£5.1m) inched his way into second in the FPL defenders’ points table with another clean sheet.

They were rare success stories on a pretty grim day for well-owned FPL assets such as Mohamed Salah (£13.0m), Luis Diaz (£8.2m), Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.5m), Andrew Robertson (£6.8m), Marc Cucurella (£5.2m), Reece James (£6.0m), Ivan Perisic (£5.6m), Dejan Kulusevski (£8.2m), Joao Cancelo (£7.1m) and Son Heung-min (£11.7m), who all blanked.

Our usual Scout Notes article, which summarises more of the main FPL talking points, notable manager quotes and injury news in extraa detail, will follow.

How did you come to that being easy? Both have good fixtures but mitro tends to only get solitary goals, while Toney is more of a brace/hatty kinda guy

Warming to the idea that Martinelli is enough. Here's my GW10 target with FTs:

          Sanchez (later Guaita) Ward
          Trent Cancelo James Trippier Dalot
          Salah Zaha Martinelli Gross Andreas
          Toney Haaland Mitrovic

Minor tweaks here and there between GWs 10 and 16

gameweek points are variable. at the time of the decision it was worth 0.2m. could easily blank. the money is important at this stage. hindsight is a fine thing.

    Is this right ?

'Harry Kane (£11.4m) made it six attacking returns in as many matches with goals in Tottenham Hotspur’s win over Fulham.'

Is this correct ? Kane has returned in 5 games out of 6, ok he score twice against Forest but I look as that being 5 returns in 6 games - or is it just me thinking that a return is per game ?

Also he didn't score goals against Fulham, he scored a single goal.

He's got 6 returns in 6 games. You're over complicating it.

But yes he only scored 1 against Fulham.

      1. Hotdogs for Tea
        • 8 Years

I look at frequency of returns on a game basis not on a number of total goals & assists... For example for me Firmino has returned in two games out of six and that says a lot about him rather than the misleading six returns in six games. Firmino could blank the next two games and have blanked in 6 out of 8 games and yet returned 6 times in 8 games, if it is reported the same way Kane's returns are reported in this article.

I just find it a bit misleading, but hey ho 🙂

A return is a goal or an assist (or CS for defenders and keepers)

Haaland has 11 returns from 6 games

      1. Hotdogs for Tea
        • 8 Years

I know what a return is, my issue is the referencing it to games ... Haaland has returned in all six games, Kane in 5 games out of 6, Firmino in 2 games out of 6 ... I find this more helpful

How quick some ships sink, after gw2 so many wanted Cucurella. Fast forward a few weeks, he sits on just 12 points which is 10 less then his competition who has barely played.

People were buying DaSilva in droves after gw2 in the following 4 weeks he has averaged a 1 point a game

At lease Bailey delivered finally after 6 weeks for his very very patient owners

Definitely the West Ham one. It was horrendous. There wasn't *that* much of a push on the Newcastle player (Willock), so that made it 'less bad.' I thought the alleged 'push' by Neto last week was a shocking VAR decision, but that today was brutal.

West Ham have had a poor start, but they've looked better during the last couple of games. They've made a few decent signings, so i expect them to improve. Is it worth taking a chance with one of their budget defenders for their up coming favourable fixture swing?

    Ward Neco Dasilva Reed

This is where I am right now

Did Trent > Tripper and Jesus > Darwin -4

I have gone triple LFC attack. They have teething problems at the back and both Trent and Robbo are likely to be rotaded often with Milner RB and Tsimi LB. That is why I have jumped off Trent and will see how things go when Liverpool's fixture get better. Trent was taken off at 70 minutes in GW5 so rotation is going to happen.

Chelsea have GW7 to show up otherwise James is gone. If Chelsea start showing solidity GW7 then I will upgrade Neco to a 4.5 and get a decent enabler as my 4th mid.

The reason I am keeping Salah is because I cannot find a midfielder to replace him with. I definitely do not want Pep roulette KDB benched or Stetling at this point playing for a hoppeless Chelsea. Salah plays 90 minutes.

If anyone watched the Merseyside derby eye test, Liverpool's attack is ready to rip opposition defences apart. Klopp knows he has issues at the back so goals win games.

Everton had 100 busses parked today. They were very lucky not to concede and Pickford had the game of his career.

Diaz should be nailed and is a constant threat. Darwin is nailed AF. Salah is not going anywhere unless someone can tell me who to replace him with plus he is still a massive cap option.

I most likely will keep Kulu for GW7 but might change my mind after tomorrows fixtures so I will see if a second hit is viable as it is for an Arsenal player which has been rather quite but could start finding some form.

Arsenal's defence is solid so do not mind the double up.

Just hoping for a good day tomorrow from Jesus, Gabriel and Saliba.

Henderson might also go. I am going to give him a couple of games. Forest fixtures are ok and he is a fun keeper to own.

This was pretty much my GW1 WC until Darwin was sent off. Same front three, Kulu and Mo and Trent and Saliba but had Zinc instead of Gabriel.

        Team is flexible.

Why do u need triple Liverpool attack? If u leave out the bmouth game, they are barely averaging 1-2 goals a game. I gave robbo and diaz and getting rid of them soon after wolves game.

Who would you start next week? And who's first off the bench? Currently have:

    Trippier to start

Dalot, Gordon, Andreas as the bench order

    Salah —> Bailey for free.
Use the £57 billion savings to buy
all the £8 million midfielders, fund
cancer research and end world hunger
... and then maybe upgrade GK?

    (totally lost it now)

It seems sensible. But that West Ham fixture isn't the easiest. Antonio hitting a bit of form

Trippier price might rise tonight then I'll be priced out. Otherwise I would have waited another week I think.

Trippier is one of the best consistent player in fpl this year at his value. He is a season keeper for me
