Interesting listening to Klopp's post match interview on Mo Salah.
It's Salah that's not playing well, not the tactics.  Salah didn't drop in-between the lines when the opportunities were there, which would have allowed him to get into the box.  The idea is for Darwin to occupy the last line freeing up Salah. He doesn't feel Salah will be out wide too often in the season which is good for FPL managers.  That said, the front three will take some time to click.
Case of selling and bringing in when you see some form or being patient and holding.

When the heat map shows him to be near the box and his SIB increases, that's the signal we need.

He's regressing and continued the poor form from final months of last season into this season.

I'll shift but think moving off other 'pool is first priority as not really any clear alternative premium.

Feel comfortable shifting with a WC on the horizon

Going to just burn a transfer. Want to swap out the likes of taa, James for trippier , manutd etc but this isn't the week to do it. May just do the fabled Ward to Iverson for the 0.1. Surely he has to start soon

    1. Valar(Keith)

They look fantastic though. They can't keep 30+ CSs and won't get 20+ either. 13 to 15 is about right so temper expectations to 1 CS every 3 games and you'll be fine owning their gk/defense

    Henderson
    James Gabriel Trippier Saliba
    Salah Sterling Diaz
    Haaland Nunez Mitrovic

    Ward Dasilva Neco Reed

Still deciding on cap. Might not be Haaland.

Concerned that maybe Brighton defence were overperforming on xGC and now will start to ship goals...I am worried that Jesus is not actually a significant goal threat and just makes arsenal a better team, which does not translate to FPL, and that I'm missing out on assets like Mitro and Toney who are focal points of their teams output. And of course I am worried that TAA and Salah are massively expensive, underperforming assets.

        Lol.

How many points behind in a mini leagues would you have to be before adopting a high risk strategy?

I’m 50 points, primarily due to double ‘pool defence and Captaining Salah over Haaland a few times. Is that far enough away that you would start getting punty? Or would you still play a straight game, hoping a stable strategy will edge the points back?

It’s a difficult decision because FF is high scoring, but low variance. I think that’s how to describe it: folks get 2,500 points, but in a mini league 1st and 2nd are often only separated by 20 points.

So although being 50 points off out of 2,500 sounds like it’s close, it’s actually a way off.

    Sanchez Ward
TAA Cancelo Van Dijk Saliba Neco
    KDB Diaz Martinelli Andreas DaSilva
    Haaland Jesus Mitrovic

    2ft
    0itb

    Any ideas here?

I would like Kane for Jesus so to get there might do Diaz to Rashford if fit this week then Van Dijk to Dalot the next

Would leave me with three premiums

    Thoughts?

    2FT.

    Pope
    TAA Cucu Perisic Cancelo
    Salah Martinelli Kulu DaSilva
    Haaland Jesus

    Ward Neco Andreas Greenwood

Could play Andreas home to Chelsea instead of Cucu. Got 1.2 ITB, almost want to hit the WC button but seems a shame to waste 2FT when I could sort a few issues with a -4?

Jesus, Neco, Greenwood to Mitro, Alvarez and max 4.7 defender?

Alvarez in covers any Haaland rotation.

Could also just simply to Jesus to Toney and Neco to Trippier for no hit
