It feels like it may be best to go with BB 34 and FH37 based on the number of fixtures in each… and would make planning for the BB easier with a 30/31 wildcard?

With BB34, you have to do something with Chelsea and City assets
With BB37, you have to do something with Liverpool and Arsenal assets

Alternatively you could WC30 to cover 6 Spurs and Chelsea doublers in 35/36 and 37 and FH34 when they blank/play Arsenal.

Triple Arsenal seems pretty much nailed for DGW34. I think I prefer a double up in midfield rather than defence. Son blanking makes it easy to FT him out that week.

A double for sure. Not sure about a triple/treble. Guess it depends on if you double in defence, where you could be a risk of loosing a double clean sheet.

    Think that's my wildcard confirmed now;

    Foden>Salah
    Odegaard>Mainoo or Garnacho
    Senesi>Gusto
    Doughty>Richards
    Turner>Kelleher

Leaves me 0.8m extra for a DGW keeper if I go Mainoo as first sub. Just getting Turner out as he's near dropping.

Just wildcard soon and BB Arsenal and Liverpool players in gw34 ...

It looks straightforward enough and get Eze or a Wolves player closer to the time. With Wolves you might be banking on the bonus game against Bournemouth.

I like how the fixtures have split.

Will make for differing chip strategies.

I think I'm gonna deadend 34, WC35, BB37. But this isn't at all a recommendation because it's quite team dependent.

    The plan is this:

Triple Pool, Arsenal, double Bournemouth, Haaland and 2 other doublers from Palace/Wolves.

WC35 and buy Udogie, Son, triple Chelsea and Foden back. BB37.

Thanks. After your helpful advice the other day, I've also been studying the fixtures and reached the same conclusion a few minutes ago, and have same chips. Wondering if can deadened to two Wolves and ignore Palace, but can see what their form is over next couple of weeks.

Think this strategy will suit my team too.

A bit injury dependent but I might be tempted by BB34 if I don’t need to make unplanned moves. Then I focus in on the 11 for the run in with the WC but I don’t think there’ll be much in it either way.

I think chip strategies diverged last week.

FH29 means an early wildcard is on.

Non FH29 likely carrying Spurs so should consider it too.

Going triple Chelsea could be a backfire move into gw37?

If you FH in 29 you're strongly disincentivized to WC now because it means you'll have a tough time transitioning from a GW34 team to a GW37 team.

You will want to have a lot of Arsenal and Liverpool players who are quite pricy and that means you won't have a lot of Spurs, Chelsea or City.

This is why I like the way the fixtures split. Without chips it's hard to attack both fully because the players you want for one week are taking up spots for another week and not enough time in between to make the switch organically.

I think playing the next 4 game weeks into Arsenal and Liverpool players makes a lot of sense.

And you're well set for gw34.

You've got up to 5 Free Transfers if rolling 2 to sort out gw35, 36 and 37.

I'm glad that gw37 is going to be the focus for the fixture planners and that might cause detriment in the meantime.

I know a dgwBB can be big but there's points to be had now.

      Wildcard when you want.

      I'd favour sooner than later.

BB34 and FH38 is probably the better combo.

In that scenario you could WC33 or WC35/36.

The pivot from teams with a double in 34 to teams with a double in 35 will dictate everyone's chip strategy.

You need to move between one swathe of players from one set of teams to another swathe of players from a different set of teams.

    Wildcard 35 seems inevitable.

Chelsea and Spurs have good fixtures leading up to 34 and some of their assets are the most sturdy in the game - Son, Palmer etc. Throw in a Gusto, Udogie, Petrovic. It's not that bad and doesn't impact the rest of your squad composition much.

        They double twice though.

So from GW35, Spurs will play:
        Ars, Liv, Che, Bur, City

Liverpool will play: Whu, Tot, Avl

I reckon Spurs players win that round especially the attacking players. Son + Maddison together will be popular.

I think I'd aim to WC the week Spurs and Chelsea play so you can go 6 of each and just go all-in ahead of BB37.

The problem with wildcard in 35 is that you would go heavy on, I assume, NEW MUN CHE and MCI.

And I don't trust a single one of those teams to reliably outscore the Arsenals and the Liverpools of this world (in FPL terms), even with more fixtures.

Only real change for me with this news is that I'll keep Solanke and/or get Nunez instead of punting on Højlund. Was planning on losing Son this week on WC but this makes me feel a bit more comfortable with the move. Guess I'll BB too

For me personally BB34 doesnt sit well. You need Spurs assets in your team for the run in and cant get them all in 35/36. And even if you sell Salah in GW35 for Son you'll have to get him back or he'll hurt with the fixtures Pool have.

I'd rather BB closer to the WC.

      So I'd lean more towards WC30, BB34, FH37.

And then in GW35 you buy as many Chelsea and Spurs players as you can.

It is literally impossible to do that honestly. I think the other way round is easier because you want atleast 6-7 players from Chelsea, Spurs & City assets from this week only with the fixtures they have.

But the problem with that is that Liverpool and Arsenal are really strong assets you want for your main team. You don't want to avoid them just so you can FH34.

Just take some hits in 35 and 36, or have Palmer on your BB in 34 and all becomes fine.

Have Gabriel, Saka, Salah & Darwin in my current draft. I dont think Pool & Arsenal can be sacrificed completely 35 onwards too. They have great fixtures then also, fighting for the title and great GW38 fixtures too when MLs are lost & won because of these kind of players going big on the last day.

Keep flipflopping Petro (he's currently in, making a triple, incase of price rise). Him & Gusto are good, in that you can just bench them. Downside, of course, is Chelsea have not been good defensively. Nobody's really jumping out, GK/def wise, other than Arsenal.

Also have 7 from Arsenal, Liverpool, Wolves. Which makes FH34 seem a bit of a waste - could easily add in Ev, CPL, Bournemouth on WC.

Without looking too much into it, FH34 seems easier. And then work towards BB37. Will have to ponder it.

I've already got Gabriel & Saka. I'm bringing in Salah this GW, and probably Morris to Darwin. Haaland comes back for me in GW31. I've got cash ITB to get Havertz before GW34 or I could just do Son to Havertz/Ode in GW34. A 3rd Liverpool player will depend on whether Kelleher or a defender looks an option.

Hi all again, well this has spiced things up a bit?

      As a FHer in GW29

I have 2x Arsenal, 3X Bournemouth Salah (this week for Bowen), 2x Chelsea.

But I think the BB34 is better in GW34 than GW37.

If I had a FH left I would definitely be using it in GW37?

What am I missing? I also don't have Haaland (but Foden and his fixtures look juicy.)

      Neto (Turner)
      Gusto, Moreno Estu (Gabriel, Doherty)
Son, Saka, Foden, Palmer, Bowen (to Salah)
      Solanke, Semenyo, Watkins

Just too many moves to BB (Eze/Olise/Richards)
Son if he plays on the left to Arsenal Mid. Darwin up front.
Moreno Doherty and Estu to Everton and Liverpool
      Means going without Haaland, Gulp!!

I think the non FHer win, as GW37 doubles don't look as good as GW34?

You can always rely on Neale to sum things up perfectly:

It's not - if GW 29 confirmed anything that double shite, is still shite.

Therefore DGW 37 is a non-event except for Spurs and City assets which you wouldn't sell in the GW prior anyway.

    Even more lost now,

'm kinda stuck here: I like the team, doesn't look WC material, but only route to Salah would be ditching one of Son/Saka/Watkins.

    Leno
    Aké, Branthwaite, Robinson
    Son, Foden, Bowen, Palmer
    Haaland, Watkins, Solanke

    Areola, Saka, Gabriel, Doughty

    A. Go without Salah this week and reassess
    B. Bowen to Salah, Watkins to Semenyo (- 4)
    C. WC, so I can keep Watkins, Saka, Solanke, Son, and have Salah too?

I'm of the view that Solanke at Villa and Wolves is an easy avoid.

I can imagine content creators saying hold onto your Bournemouth players but I think that's pretty dud advice.

Spurs are the fly in the ointment that may mess a few up. They've got some decent enough fixtures to hold them now but then they mess up things from gw34 to 37.

        Which is great!

      I dunno. I think I cap him in 32, 33 for sure and then 35/36 (whichever week isn't a DGW for tot/che), 37, 38.

That's quite a lot. I'm holding. And because I've worked all season to build up my team value so I can afford to keep him without having to sacrifice in other areas of the team.
