Operation get Salah. Which one is the best?

    A. 30 save 31 Salah and Darwin for Foden/Son and Watkins

    B. 30 save 31 Salah Cunha and RAN for Barkley Watkins and Porro for -4

    C. 30 Salah and RAN for Foden and Porro -4 31 Darwin for Watkins

WC in 35 is the strategy

    Team:
    Dubravka (Areola)
    Porro Maguire Zabarnye (Gabriel Kerkez)
    Son Saka Foden Palmer (Barkley)

My defence is a mess this GW but would you roll here or get Bradley in for Colwill?

With Bradley I need a hit to Salah in next week.

I would roll. Even if Bradley gets you +4 vs what you would've got this week, you know that's cancelled by the hit you're going to take next week. Rolling gives you more time to assess and more options next week.

    Saka - Foden - Palmer - Son
    Watkins - Solanke - Haaland

Kelleher - Estupinan - Taylor - Hee Chan

    1ft, 2.9 itb

    __
My plan until GW 34 and WC 35:

    GW 30:
Estupinan -> Ait Nuri (Bench Gabriel)

    GW 31:
Son -> Salah (Enough money by 0.1)

    GW 32:
    Save FT

    GW 33:
    Watkins -> Darwin
    Save FT

    GW 34:
    Foden -> Eze
Hee Chan -> Sarabia or something

    DGW 34 Team:
    Neto*
Ait Nouri* - Gabriel* - Saliba*
Saka* - Eze* - Hee Chan* - Salah*
    Darwin* - Solanke* - Haaland

(Still have 3 ITB to spend somewhere along the way)

Really don't know what to do with this team of mine. I fear not having Salah, but Watkins has a good fixture and I'm not sure about losing him either. Can't lose Son before Luton. Losing Saka not ideal.

But then again, it's scary not to have Salah! I like the team, though, doesn't look WC material, but only route to Salah would be ditching one of Son/Saka/Watkins.

WC and BB still available, but not sure as to what would be the best strategy. Any overall thoughts about best way onwards here? I would very much appreciate it. Team as follows.

    Leno
    Aké, Branthwaite, Robinson
    Son, Foden, Bowen, Palmer
    Haaland, Watkins, Solanke

    Areola, Saka, Gabriel, Doughty

    A. Bowen to Salah, Watkins to fodder (- 4)
    B. Go without Salah and reassess next week
    C. Bowen to Salah, Watkins to Muniz, Aké to Gusto (- 8)
    D. WC

    3. Nickyboy

I have Salah, but equally I don't have Son. You can't have them all and no point breaking your team to try to get them all. Better to stick what you have and enjoy the points than switch and then curl up in a ball when your original team outscores them and you burned transfers / points too + one more week gives you more time and info to assess.

tl;dr - if it's effectively a coin flip, better to stick with what you have than burn transfers / take hits just to take the other side of the 50 / 50.

Can someone please give a good reason for doing one of the following over the other?
    A. BB34 FH37
    B. FH34 BB37

    WC is already active.

    1. Bob B
      • 10 Years
      1 month, 14 days ago

My argument for B as it is the route imm taking, it will let you pick up good players for the next few weeks with an eye on 37. You can keep Chelsea and Spurs assets which you will want in 35/36, 37 & 38 and you can avoid the tough fixture and blank in 34 with the FH.

    2. Tonyawesome69
      • 5 Years

Teams that double in 34 are different to 35/36 and 37. FH34 allows you to cover the doublers in 34 and WC30/FTs cover 35/36 and 37

Biggest issue here is how do you get Haaland before 34. Is Haaland plus sorting your defence sufficient to activate the WC? Do you need Haaland (c) for 32 or 33?

      1. Bob B
        • 10 Years
        1 month, 14 days ago

Haaland can come in easily, free in 32 or for a hit by 31.

I either do Toney to Muniz this week (-4) or Watkins to Cunha next week and then Haaland can come in for free in 32.

Defence is a slight concern but I have an Arsenal and City defence, plus Porro and attacking options in Reguilon and Doughty.

That's kinda rough. I'd WC I think. No way to get Salah and delaying a couple weeks doesn't solve the problem. You have way too much invested in defense which is hurting your ability to get who you need.

agree with some of these comments really - without a WC looks like you'll need to do at least a -8 this week which Im not against Doughty, Estu, potentially Trippier if word is he doesn't start all could go tbf
