      Nevermind.

What was your question, someone else might be able to offer insights?

Son or Salah if you can only choose on.

My question was a chance for redemption for Zoph after he derailed my season by saying not to do Foden to Son before his 17 points haul.

Salah but Son could haul in gw30.

Salah first, bring son in later. Would sooner drop haaland than those 2 personally though

            Thanks Fish N Chips.

            Zop didnt answer my question.

If you sold Haaland GW28 would you bring him back before the DGW34? and with or without Foden?

I would have Salah over Son despite Son is the better captain this week.
If you can get both in over two weeks I would get Son first and Salah next week.

Personally, my plan is to keep Son this week, bring in Salah next week, and then probably back to Son on WC35.

Presumably you were happy with the answer and agreed with it at the time. It's not Zoph's fault that it didn't work out in terms of FPL points.

        Yeah

I've fallen into the trap too.

Who would you get as a second keeper on BB34 with Pickford?

Actually I've got more cash now so will look again.

I'm on BB34 and am going Raya/Pickford, although I'll be wildcarding in gw31.
But Bournemouth attack is not amazing at home, so Pickford this week isn't too bad. Could be a 9/10 pter if lucky.

    WC gtg ?
    Onana Petrovic
    Gabriel Udog Lascelles Gusto Bradley
    Salah Saka Son Palmer Garnacho
    Haaland Darwin Solanke

Then plan would be FH 34
    BB with 15 in GW37

    Solanke becomes Isak
    Gabriel becomes Schar
    Darwin becomes Hoijlund
    Bradley becomes whoever doubles
All before BB for 15 players

Solanke feels like a nice pick for non-WCers this GW.

Higher projected goals by the bookies at 0.67 compared to Isak 0.65 and Darwin 0.60

Articles states 'I’m pretty certain all Wildcard 35 teams will feature Isak, so it’s a transfer you’ll likely have to eventually make if you don’t get him now.'

Do you think this will be the case? My draft GW35/36 WC team has a front three of Haaland, Højlund & Jackson for the Chelsea double DGW.

You may have answered your own question bud.
IMO if you had him from old, keep. Otherwise Udogie might have better value.
Do you need a Spurs defender atm? It may seem like it with Citeh and Arsenal playing each other. You could have a different slant after 1 to 2 weeks.

Yeah it was just in reference to the price rise last night - feels like as you get to 6m for defenders you should be expecting some double digit hauls but he's yet to get one as Spurs don't reliably keep clean sheets!

    2. Free Hat
      • 5 Years

Eye stats wise I even prefer Udogie in recent performances.

Only deadball situations a bonus for Porro, but not even secure with Maddison back

With Maddison back in the team he’s off set pieces too

So basically he’s less attacking and playing for a team who can’t keep a clean sheet. No time to look at the past the present tells you all you need to know on whether he’s worth it

Probably BC, but don't think there is a clear choice.

Solanke hasn't looked too good since he's been carrying an injury, but if that's okay now then maybe he's a good pick. You can always have him on FH34.

What would you do with this lot? 0Ft, 0.4ITB, BB & WC left to play

    Areola

    Palmer, Saka, Foden, Salah
    Haaland, Watkins, Solanke

    Dubravka, Barkley, Estupinan, Beyer

With no FH I would move to DGW34 players.
I think the end of the road for Luton and Senesi injured I think.
Ignore the BB/ GW37 is too far away and it will impact on decent short term choices.
Maybe a couple of defenders from Munoz and Ait Nouri?

I can be a bit of a maverick and take hits. One reason is I hate holding onto waste of space players and the other is a hit should tot be compared over 1 GW as everyone seems to do.
-8 will hurt a bit but at least you have 2 players you really want. i think defenders, as bad as they have been will will impact on OR outcomes. Especially when 6 from 7 other players will be mostly owned by everyone.
Senesi, Doughty or Estu. Probably in that order.

Worth to WC? Currently leading mini-league so could protect against chasers..

A couple of things to keep in mind.
Avoid getting 3 players in the same team. Maybe stick to 2 of each and give yourself options later.

    Areola (Dubravka)
    Gabriel Porro Zabarnyi (Doughty Taylor)
    Saka Foden Son Palmer (Odegaard)
    Haaland Solanke Watkins

1 FT, £1.1m ITB, still have WC

A - roll this week and do 3 transfers for a -4 next week to get Salah in (current plan)
B - take a hit or maybe 2 this week to get Salah in sooner
    C - wildcard

Thanks - yeh I think if I could get Salah for a -4 I’d do it this week but happy enough with my team and going without this week to be able to do more surgery next week

Playing Gabriel and Konsa. Do I play a) Pau or b) Doughty with them? Cheers

Probably Doughty - not sure either get a clean sheet but more chance of attacking return

Not sure if Bradley will start both doubles in GW34, watkins has some tough fixtures ahead and not doubles so maybe a Darwin or an Isak, Solanke could come in for GW34 for the double on a free hit or regular transfer, maybe a different keeper for Areola who doubles (Pickford, ederson, others), otherwise looking good.

Start Doughty (tot) or Gabriel (mci)?

I’m going Gab and benching Doughty - I’ve been burned too many times from benching Gabriel!

    Estupinan out for:

    a) Gusto
    b) Disasi
    c) Andersen
    d) Zabarnyi

Chelsea better fixtures but no double in 34. Not sure if Gusto is nailed if James is back ‘soon’

    On WC, current starting XI

    Kelleher
    Pedro Gabriel Gusto
    Salah Saka Son Rich Palmer
    Haaland Darwin

    Petrovic Muniz Lascelles Maguire

Anything you’d change about starting lineup or WC in general? Want to start Muniz but not sure who to drop. Other option is to downgrade rich to garnacho and then start Muniz.

I'd do the latter option mate 🙂

Thoughts on my WC team above?

I'd get rid of Rich mate not sure he starts and you have Son for TOT cover.
