The Big Numbers – Gameweek 35

Next, we take a look back at the post-match data in our usual members’ analysis of the previous Gameweek.

We skew our analysis towards Double Gameweek 37 assets, as Man City, Arsenal and West Ham’s attacks all feature. Meanwhile, Newcastle’s form at both ends of the pitch is also assessed prior to their favourable weekend fixture and double-header.

Who would you rather have as a 5th defender in GW 37 for a max price of 5.5? Going to be playing my BB then.

Currently have Cedric, Morgan, VDH and Vertonghen

    Already have triple United.

    1. Netley Lucas

Yeah he's currently the most likely one I'll get.
Either that or go for Mawson.
Could always punt on someone like Laporte, but too risky when I'm BBing.

Haven't put Vertonghen in yet, so could actually go Davies instead. Which of the 2 Spurs guys would you prefer?

Always a bit suspicious with Davies, Poch has other options aside from Rose if needed, Vertonghen is steady.

Agreed on the Smalling pick, but he's slightly out of range. Baines only has 1 game and even though it's a good one, I'm not confident he'll outscore Mawson/Mustafi/ United def who have 2 games.

He'd taken quite a hard knock to the shoulder and was recovering prior to that game. Was a doubt the whole week and wasn't going to be risked. Straight back in at City.

    For BB37
Mahrez to Sterling, then I have funds to Ottamendi ( up to 6.4)

Struggling with what to do here

    DDG
    Lowton Naughton Morgan
    Mahrez Son Alli Willian
    Vardy Murray Lukaku

Dubravka King Bailly Alonso 1 FT 1.9 ITB

    A) Bailly to Smalling
    B) A + Mahrez to Sterling (-4)
    C) A + Willian to Sterling (-4)
    D) Lukaku to Kane

There is actually 100 options but will to take -8 over the next 2 weeks so that is 4 transfers. Any advice appreciated

    Cheers

Just WIllian to Sterling imo (if you can afford that). Otherwise C. Wait to see how Kane performs against Watford before getting him. Lukaku can certainly do well against a weakened Arsenal side who haven't got a point away from home this year.
