Fixtures

Premier League fixtures announced for 2018/19

The Premier League fixture list for 2018/19 was released today at 9am, giving Fantasy managers an early idea of which teams to target in the opening few Gameweeks.

Manchester City’s initial fixtures particularly stand out: the reigning champions begin with an away trip to Arsenal before they encounter all six of the sides promoted from the Championship over the last two seasons.

Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea only meet one of their fellow “big six” clubs in their opening half-dozen fixtures, meanwhile.

Newly promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers (EVE, lei, MCI, whu, BUR, mun) and Fulham (CPL, tot, BUR, bri, mci, WAT) have mixed starts, while Cardiff City have a decent trio of matches (bou, NEW, hud) to begin with before their fixtures toughen considerably: the Bluebirds then face six of last season’s top seven in their subsequent seven matches.

Wolves and Cardiff also have tricky-looking final-day encounters away at Liverpool and Manchester United respectively.

Southampton and Everton assets might be among those to consider in the opening months of the season: they are the only two clubs not to play any of last season’s top six sides in the first five Gameweeks.

Cant stress enough the importance of picking the 'big fish' which will dominate point scoring for their team - James, Eriksen, Lewandowski, Ziyach are all so important for their teams and will have large involvement in goals

Any chance Uruguay start with abbackline of: Pereira Giminez Godin Cacares against Egypt? As they did in their final friendly game?

    Might mean Varela missed out.

    TELEGRAPH FF WC

Does anyone know if when you transfer out a player in TFF WC do you keep the points that player got that day?

Does anyone know yet if you can use more than one booster chip at the same time and if they can be played at the same time as your wildcard?

For example, can you bench boost and use maximum captain at the same time? Or can you wildcard and bench boost at the same time?

Can't decide who should be my 6.5 mid.
Anyone would like to convince me if it is better to go for Ljajic, Carrasco or Cueva?
    My 5.5mid is Meza.

Also, worth it to bring Pavard?

Carrasco is the pick of the 6.5 options, no doubt about it for me.

Regarding Pavard, I don't want a player who will only play one when you only get one FT between rounds. I'm happier with Varela.
