FPL Think Tank – Double Gameweek 32

We are bringing back Fantasy Premier League ‘Think Tank’ in time for the Double Gameweeks ahead.

With Gameweek 32 chocked full of additional fixtures, which can be found here, Fantasy managers have plenty of questions.

In order to get a idea of the Fantasy Football Scout consensus on these issues, you can create your own poll and customise what answers are available.

Later in the week we will pick our favourite ones and publish them in an article for you all to vote in.

    Who is the most nailed defender for both DGW games combined from Man City and Man U? (will be getting the GK from the opoosite team) - Smalling perhaps?

    3-5-2 anyone? Having bench fodder like Crouch on the bench allows for a strong defense and a delicious midfield.

    Is nobody considering Kane fir DGW?

    Ha netted in 7 of last 9 prem games, can score against anybody, Liverpool are no longer watertight, even at home, and he plays Palace who he gets easily get a 13 or Brace against.

    Downside is spurs’ form

        It's a pickle, another option I see is a 4.5 striker and swapping Kane and Moutinho for Son & D Silva. I'm just not convinced right now that Son will score if Spurs do, whereas Kane definitely will.

        I am aware of weak def, but thinking of taking gamble and going heavy front.

        Rash for hig is a thought which would then leave door open for more to strengthen doh.

        As for bilva, I feel like he is key, pep loves him and think he is likely to start both were as others have the chance of rotation including kun and sterling

    I'm seeing lots of love for Son but little for Alli I'm genuinely curi8as to why. Alli is more nailed on and got an assist in his return game why Son seems off the boil now. Is it just Sons explosiveness?

    Winning the FA Cup SF is worth at least £3.6m (losing the SF gets you £0.9m). That is more than an extra PL place. With the added glory of being in the final too you can see Wolves, Watford and Brighton resting players in the DGW in advance of the SFs.

      FH team XI would only involve players from Chelsea Utd City and Palace. With the exception of Kane, maybe.

    Not sure why people are ignoring Bilva:

    1) Pep absolutely rates him so highly and is nailed into his best X1

    2) He scored a goal and an assist in his last 2 starts in all competitions - Swansea (FA cup) and Schalke 04 (CL)

    3) Fulham and Cardiff fixtures do not get any better on paper

    4) I cannot see defenders or Ederson getting BAPS in these fixtures.. the bonus will be dominated by the attackers and just one assist for Bilva could easily match the clean sheet for the back 5

    i'm probably going to go for 3 mci attackers

    what do we think about the dilva/bilva debate

    I feel bilva will be selected by more due to his price and pep's love for him, but dilva is due is he not? he's had a quiet season by his standards, and, he also played the full 2x90 mins in dgw25

        well this is it currently with dilva (so basically i've an extra 1m itb to upgrade elsewhere if I go bilva)

          ah,i have gone 4-3-3 to get kane, think he could outperform the city mids,ofcourse there's a huge price gap, but if i had to get one, i'd get Bilva, been really attacking, Pep seems to prefer him over sane mahrez.

      Everyone who is a top player and hasn't scored points for a while is 'due'.

      Sane is due. KDB is due. Alli is due. Son is due. I could go on.....

      All you can do is try to choose good players who you think will start and then keep your fingers crossed.

      Also thinking along the same lines. I'm chasing too, so if the Man City attackers haul big plus bonus points, I could definitely make some good gains.

      Also thinking Dilva along with Sterling & Aguero. Bilva just seems to be ticking along in the Premier League in terms of fantasy returns...
