The fixture schedules for the “big six” Premier League teams

Fantasy managers will now be planning for the final two Double Gameweeks of the season after a tricky period either side of the international break.

Two Blank Gameweeks and one Double Gameweek have already been navigated and now just five Gameweeks of the season remain, including a double-header for Brighton and Cardiff next week and then a bumper Gameweek 35.

Wildcard or not, FPL bosses will be loading their squads with players with “extra” matches over the next fortnight as well as looking at those assets with the most appealing fixtures in the season run-in once the Double Gameweeks are concluded.

Players from the “big six” will no doubt be dominating our thoughts again: four of those half-dozen clubs have two matches in Gameweek 35, while Liverpool enjoy meetings with Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town before the end of April.

With that in mind, we thought it was worth a look at the schedule for the “big six” clubs over the next month or so, given that all of these teams are still involved in European competition.

Rotation has to be a concern with all six of these sides competing on two fronts, although it will be difficult, for example, to imagine Jurgen Klopp making wholesale changes to his Liverpool side against Cardiff and Huddersfield with the league title on the line.

Below is a club-by-club itinerary for the remaining games of 2018/19.

The fixtures in italics are UEFA Champions League/Europa League ties and we have also included the dates for the next stages of these competitions, in case the teams below progress.

Some of the Premier League games around those semi-finals could be moved back/forward a day if some of the clubs in question advance.

Not nailed. Janmaat has played well recently. Femenía possibly first choice, but expect Janmaat will get games before the end of the season.

Who's the best Watford defender to get on a WC mate? Would you get any Watford players if you still had BB & WC?

Madness to keep Vardy on WC? Excellent form and excellent fixtures coming up (NEW, whu, ARS).

    Thinking Kane-Vardy-Jimmy.

Arsenal have beaten Everton 97 times in the league (more than any side has beaten another) and scored 107 goals (more than any side has against another in competition's history).

Everton have always done badly @ Arsenal
66 of those wins came at home though!
Record isnt as impressive at Goodison Park.

You'll find that those figures have been taken from two different charts.
Everton have been beaten 97 times off Arsenal since the league started. Thats correct.
      ( conceding 327 goals and winning 97)

      But

Everton have conceded 107 goals since the start of the Premier League was formed.
      ( in 53 games and winning 33)

Lazy reporting by the BBC. Still a terrible record for Everton though!

Posted this late last night but putting it here so more people can see.

Here's some food for thought for WCers... TC in GW35 and BB in GW36?

With the triple Brighton appeal in GW34 but with poor fixtures in GW35, it could be worth just benching Brighton assets in 35 instead of wasting a BB chip?

DGW teams have decent fixtures in GW36:
    Brighton v Newcastle
    Watford v Wolves
    Southampton v Bournemouth
    Spurs v West Ham
    Burnley v Man City
    Leicester v Arsenal

    Plus Liverpool v Huddersfield

So if you've loaded up on a bunch of DGW players (especially Brighton) + Liverpool on WC... It just might be worth looking at GW36 to play BB instead of having a benching headache?

What think you of this fine team?

    Leno Ryan
    Bed Duffman Kola TAA Trip
    Mane Fraser JWP Son Sterling
    Jimi Deeney Kane

Got 0.4 in the bank. Happy to lose Fraser and possibly Mane.

Yes. More goal threat. If you've got the cash, worth it

Its a coin toss for me. Can't predict who will get a goal or cards.
      It's a luck.

Can use it to fund Mane when you downgrade Pogba 😉

Worth downgrading Pogba to upgrade Deeney to Lacazette? (Otherwise this is very similar to my WC team)

Downgrade LaPorte to someone else, upgrade Ryan to Lloris. Choose one of Eriksen and Son. Other than that, squad is fine.

Ah yes, Mane. Probably Eriksen to Mane.

Would appreciate any opinions on the below options on WC -

    A) Keep Robertson
    B) Switch to TAA (bank .5 for future flexibility)

    1) Sterling & Laca
    2) KDB & Aguero

Tough call, only downside of Trent is possible rotation.

If Kun is fit then 2 imo

Which bunch should I go with on WC?

    A. Robertson Doherty KDB Deeney
    B. TAA Laporte Doucouré Lacazette

Rest of team looking like this....

    Foster Ryan
    Kolasinac Duffy Valery
    Sterling Mane Eriksen JWP
    Kane Jimenez

    Cheers lads

Both strong but I prefer B (basically makes it the WC team I'm contemplating)

I’m on wildcard, stick with Bilva and Vardy next week, then -4 for Mane and Denney?

Al the talk of big guns being rested with fixture congestion.
Do really think the likes of Kane, Kun & Salah are letting the chance of the golden boot slip away???

I think Kun will get rotated/rested, but can't see it with Kane or Salah

I see a lot of non wildcarders “Hitting confirm on Kane in before price rise”. Fair enough do this if you are exact funding, even then it’s risky.

Yeah, FPL stats has him at 87%, but they are in the dark as they don’t know how many people have activated their wildcard and therefore his transfers don’t count. I think most people activate wildcard as I’m always told I am stupid for waiting for deadline day to do it as it’s not worth the risk.

    So don’t exacerbate the situation!

Debating this point too. Strongly prefer to wait until deadline day and team news is in, but a few price rises this week will stop me from getting the team I want.

It’s only 2 more days for Spurs-City. I’d try and hold out until Tuesday 10pm.

Ideally what I'll be doing, but will be a case of monitoring fplstatistics and if too many of my WC team are set to price rise may have to press the button sooner and just keep fingers crossed!

On WC and will BB next GW, this is my draft currently:

    Leno - Foster
    Duffy - Kola - Mendy - Val - TAA
    Jota - camasara - sterling - Mane -
    Doucoure
    Jimenez - Laca - Kane

    0.6 itb

My plan is to swap camasara for jwp in gw 35.

Do you reckon there's too many rotation risks among the team or any other weak links?
