How Kane injury affects best midfield options for second Wildcards this weekend

Fantasy Premier League managers now have plenty of money to spend on their midfield for their second Wildcards.

With an injury to Harry Kane (£12.6m) and Mohamed Salah (£13.2m) still not really cutting it, there’s an opportunity to go for some truly pragmatic picks in this position between now and the end of the season.

We’ve taken a look at what impact Kane’s absence will have on his array of midfield colleagues, before going into detail to find the best options from all clubs in this position.

As this article uses extensive data from the Fantasy Football Scout Members’ Area, only members themselves can read on and enjoy the analysis.

Now that we are past the half-way stage, memberships are now available for just £10, so make sure you get the most of it while you can by signing up HERE.

This time last week: Lacazette in most wildcard drafts
After Sunday: "Arsenal are rubbish", no Arsenal in most wildcard drafts
In a couple of hours: "Laca and Auba douple-up, who's with me?" 😆

Yeah I was thinking of transferring out Vardy after gw35 but would possibly go Vardy to firminho, erikson/son/sterling to Mane, depending who was underperforming out of the 3.

    Lloris - Ryan
    Robbo - Duffy - Doherty - Valery - Bednarek
    Sterling - Mane - Eriksen - Son - Jota
    Aguero - Jimenez - Deeney

    Cheers all! 🙂

Very good - like it. 2 players different to me below

      Bednarek v Dunk ( I am holding back 1.8 m)
      Sterling v KDB

*Sorry you have Ryan too- difficult to know who to play Lloris v Huddersfield and Ryan x 2- Perhaps Foster better with better week 35 double?

          I'll probably start Ryan only.

Yeah I was considering KDB and doing something similar. But I just don't want take that risk of going without Sterling.

Your looks good too and the KDB plan could work out well I think he's almost garunteed to start on the weekend.

        Ryan.

That's a drawback. I also have to bench Jota this week and start one of Valery/Doherty.

I think you are on to something it’s got huge potential particularly if sterling is benched a couple of times.

Vardy I think is the standout pick this week but hard to have him plus sterling and aguero
