The best forwards for a second Wildcard squad

A vacuum has been left in the forwards department by Harry Kane’s (£12.6m) recent injury – and those on the Wildcard this week have the opportunity to fill it with some decent options.

In this article we assess each striker by their goal threat, creativity and fixtures to find the best trio for the season run-in.

As we’ve used members data for this, only Fantasy Football Scout members can view our analysis.

Which forwards have the best goal threat?

On WC (BB35). What changes would you make? Have 2.1m to play with.

    Ryan Foster
    Vertonghen Duffy Robbo Doherty Valery
    Son Mane Eriksen Deulofeu Hojb
    Vardy Aguero Jimenez

I think that's pretty much the template that seems to have formed with the exception of Deulofeu Hojb

      Looks strong

My exact team, apart from Mane/Salah, Hojb/JWP, Vardy/Deeney.

Salah obviously messes up for me getting Vardy this GW, but I just want to keep him without using FTs on him in GW36.

Literally every person wildcarding will have at least 1. So even ignoring the other 40% of teams that already gives you a floor of 60% EO

    1. TheDragon
      • 6 Years

I’m justifying Erickson and Son to myself based on:

Spurs have an incredible new stadium, they therefore HAVE to have champions league football and it’s much easier to get that by finishing too 4 than winning the champions league. So if I was Poch I’d play my strongest team in the premier league each week (the slight issue is it’s huddersfiejd and spurs under 15’s could beat them)

      1. Fulchester's New Centr…

Spurs not likely to win CL (or even reach next round). Think better for Spurs to smash Hudds and rest Son etc last 20, 30 mins. Saw them scrape a win at Craven Cottage a few weeks ago and don't think they will want to do that again.
