Aubameyang and Lacazette both start but injured Ozil misses out

The first of three Premier League matches to take place on Sunday sees Leicester City take on Arsenal at the King Power Stadium.

Kick-off is at 12:00 BST.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is fit to start having undergone a “small procedure” on a sinus in midweek and the Gabonese forward is joined in the Arsenal starting XI by Alexandre Lacazette.

Sead Kolasinac and Shkodran Mustafi also come into the visitors’ side as Nacho Monreal, Mesut Ozil and Laurent Koscielny drop out.

The latter is on the bench but Ozil misses out with a foot problem and Monreal is sidelined with a calf injury.

Brendan Rodgers has made only one change, with Hamza Choudhury replacing Demarai Gray.

This is Choudhury’s first start under the new Leicester boss and his first league start since January.

Harvey Barnes is only among the substitutes despite scoring a stoppage-time equaliser in the 2-2 draw with West Ham last weekend.

Jamie Vardy leads the line for the Foxes again and no FPL asset has been involved in as many goals (ten) as the Leicester striker from Gameweek 28 onwards.

Youri Tielemans has only blanked in one of the last eight Gameweeks, meanwhile.

Arsenal have won only two of their last 11 away league matches and have kept just one clean sheet on the road all season.

Aubameyang and Lacazette have both only scored one goal in their last six Premier League away appearances.

Leicester City XI: Schmeichel, Ricardo, Evans, Maguire, Chilwell, Ndidi, Tielemans, Choudhury, Albrighton, Maddison, Vardy.

Subs: Ward, Soyuncu, Gray, Iheanacho, Barnes, Mendy, Fuchs.

Arsenal XI: Leno, Maitland-Niles, Mustafi, Sokratis, Kolasinac, Xhaka, Torreira, Mkhitaryan, Iwobi, Aubameyang, Lacazette.

Subs: Cech, Koscielny, Mavropanos, Elneny, Guendouzi, Willock, Nketiah.

Tiel probably cheaper. If mads is more than 7 5 I doubt.
Depends on Jotas price as well.

Either Mhki drops to full back with Pierre wide and no sub, or Kosielney comes on to go three at the back with Mkhi and Kolasinac as wingbacks, Iwobi off.

Football is not 100m race. You can run fast but if you can't stop and change direction fast enough then you are slow.

              • 9 Years

Yeah. I doubt Hazard would win many 100m races actually. Wouldn't be the fastest over that distance in the Chelsea squad, not by a long way.

What he has is speed of thought & excellent acceleration and his low centre-of-gravity gives him the ability to twist and turn rapidly. Mobility is maybe the word.

Sometimes clubs release data about this kind of stuff and it is very interesting. For example, the best midfielders tend to make good middle-distance runners (1500m) rather than sprinters. What is important for them is the combination of endurance and the ability to do the jog-sprint-jog-sprint thing over 90 minutes. Rather than pure pace.

Good ball control and dribbling but he always does it waaay too slow, and still finishes like a 15 year old. I don’t get why he isn’t working on his finishing.

I bet that will be expensive though, I'd guess:

              Vardy £8.5m
              Jimenez £8m
              Wilson £8m

So all together that's £24.5m or 1/4 of your budget

5.0 is a fair starting price, I think. May rise to 5.5 due to the -potential-of Arsenal's defense being better.

                But we'll see...

So all they need to clone VVD and Leno can be a good option

For me he’s the better alternative to Jimmy. Will be cheaper too
