Aubameyang and Lacazette start as Kolasinac benched again

Arsenal manager Unai Emery has gone big up front once again as he starts both of his key strikers for Sunday’s clash with Brighton.

That means both Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£10.8m) and Alexandre Lacazette (£9.4m) are in the starting line-up together for a second match in a row.

In fact, they have been paired from the start in each of the last three in all competitions, including Thursday night’s win over Valencia.

With Brighton’s troubles in front of goal recently, there is also plenty of interest in Arsenal’s defence.

However, Sead Kolasinac‘s (£5.0m) involvement in the Europa League has cost him a place in the Premier League side today.

He drops to the bench for the second time in three domestic matches, with Nacho Monreal (£5.4m) occupying the left-back spot.

After coming off on Thursday night, Laurent Koscielny (£5.4m) is fit enough only for the bench with Sokratis Papastathoupolos (£5.1m) and Shkodran Mustafi (£5.4m) paired at centre-back.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles‘ (£4.4m) suspension means that Stephan Lichtsteiner (£4.5m) gets his first start since Gameweek 27.

Glenn Murray (£6.1m) leads the Brighton line this afternoon, flanked by the returning Alirez Jahanbakhsh (£6.7m) and Solly March (£4.7m).

Arsenal XI: Leno; Lichtsteiner, Mustafi, Sokratis, Monreal; Torreira, Xhaka; Mkhitaryan, Özil; Lacazette, Aubameyang.

Brighton XI: Ryan; Bruno, Duffy, Dunk, Bernardo; Groß, Stephens, Bissouma; Jahanbakhsh, Murray, March.

It's a really tough task and needs the full support of someone who really really cares backed up with some experience in his ear (SAF) and they can soon be back on track. Lots of tiring rebuilding to do in the meantime

They are where they are and it’s a massive overhaul needed. So far behind. Did they not just give long deals to smalling and Jones, that’s hardly a base to build from for a start

Very nice Vardy call. Now Amey has mentioned it I'm trying to think of ways to draft him back in.

Less certain of Fraser - big upside of course.

My transfer at the minute is Pickford for Lloris. But that seems horribly tame for GW38.

One more hit in a season of 61 transfers to hit 100k? Probs

This is the type of game where Brighton defence deserve loads of BAPS. They have defended so stoically for a point. But because they have conceded they have no chance. This is the type of game where the BAPS system is flawed IMO.
