Can Wolves’ FPL assets perform as well in 2019/20?

Wolverhampton Wanderers were one of the big success stories of last season, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s impressive side finishing seventh in their first Premier League campaign in six years.

The West Midlands club offered Fantasy managers some notable bargain buys, with Matt Doherty (£6.0m), Diogo Jota (£6.5m) and Raul Jimenez (£7.5m) the three stand-out assets.

Doherty, Jimenez and several others have been handed price rises in Fantasy Premier League this summer, however, and aren’t quite the cut-price gems they were 12 months ago.

Do Wolves players still appeal, then, going into 2019/20?

    All these teams I’m seeing without the best defender in the world, the best LB in the world, and the no-brainer set-and-forget midfielders.

      Don't know if best, but OOP Montoya Brighton 4.5, there was a QnA on here and got a mention as an attacking punt. Lundstram Sheffield United 4.0, not guaranteed but manager has said he will play his part and is actually a midfielder.

      Unsure.Could be used anywhere .
      Have a feeling though he’ll rotate with Gbamin alongside Gomes.
      Gbamin can also play CB so Delph could get the midfield spot permanently when fit.

      Risky. Could end up with only 8 starters at some point, even this week and with those fires no flexibility to bring in an 11m few or a 9.5m mid if one explodes without hits and sacrificing Sterling.

    I think those going for Sterling Salah Kane will have to be extremely disciplined. Bandwagons in the £6-9m range WILL emerge. It’s about having the guts to cut one of the big three to bring one or two of them in.

    Rule of thumb for me is done change your core team after week 1, and even after week 2 maybe just maintenance changes. A bandwagon rarely lasts after 1 or 2 weeks good form...
