Who is the best FPL captain for Triple Gameweek 35?

The Gameweek 35 captaincy has completely turned on its head now that we are planning for an unprecedented Triple Gameweek.

Manchester United play Aston Villa (away), Leicester (home) and Liverpool (home) between now and Thursday, thrusting Bruno Fernandes (£11.5m) back into the limelight once more.

Still, there are concerns about how many Red Devils will actually play three times, which means it is still worth considering some of the Double Gameweek options on offer from other clubs.

As always, the Captain Sensible article is here to answer your captaincy questions and a whole lot more. In order to help you settle your conundrums, we analyse extensive data from the Fantasy Football Scout Premium Members Area, which is why only those with a valid subscription can access it in full.

CAPTAIN POLL

Unsurprisingly, Manchester United’s Portuguese midfielder has dominated the vote, having gained nearly 60.0% of votes since we reset the poll in the wake of Wednesday’s groundbreaking announcement.

Behind him sit Leicester City’s in-form Kelechi Iheanacho (9.8%) and colleague Mason Greenwood (7.0%).

The top-five list is completed by Mohamed Salah (£12.7m) and Marcus Rashford (5.7% and 2.8% of total votes, respectively)

In order to tackle this week’s captaincy debate effectively, where only certain teams play more than once, we will focus on those clubs and their assets separately.

        The niggle is a bit of a pain but still hasn’t stopped him starting the last 14 league games so I wouldn’t blow it out of proportion

        And hopefully having 10 days off before Villa puts him in he box seat to continue that run

I quite like the Robertson idea too, I’ve gotta decide if I think Azpilicueta plays both matches, I think he does, club captain, still need to get top 4, he definitely plays the City game, then it’s a London derby too

        Absolutely right mate!!! I think I would captain him aswell!!! It’s the Villa match where the real damage can be done and with tonight team sheet and the postponed game last week he’s had the rest he’s been needing for the past couple of months but never had!!

                  yepp siggy on penalties, james likes to drop deep so siggy is normally further up the pitch, and i dont think James is fit, always looks tired after 60 minutes

      Free hit in 36, you would need 4 hits to get a full team, whereas 8 doublers won't be far off the average (and can be increased with a hit or two)

    The TGW is such a trap. I reckon most of the popular picks will only start against Leicester and Liverpool. They are hardly fixtures that scream points. Be careful if you are planning to take hits for United players and have to take hits to take some players out in the BGW.

      I agree - seriously considering ( C) on Zaha or Iheanacho. I have TC to shell out and Zaha has 2 nice fixtures whilst Nacho has form, 1 nice fixture and probably playing a knackered UTD defence. I have Shaw and Bruno but i get the feeling the higher scores will not be UTD players.

    All three gave the same projected points!

      Ran my -8 hit through RMT last GW and it predicted +1.2pts.

      I scored 38 - 8 = +30pts.

      Use it as a guide for bench positions and nothing else.
