I'm really glad the Demba Ba wagon has lost some steam. The perfect time to jump aboard 🙂
Open ControlsTransferred out: HBA and Cazorla
Transferred in: Mata and Fellaini
🙂Open ControlsGood transfers for the long term, definitely.

I hate Giroud. I had him two times this season, for 6 weeks in total. I captained him twice in those weeks. He never scored more than 2 points for me. He is a very bad man.
Open ControlsTiming is everything in this game
Open Controls
who would you rather have for city coverage after GW12
A)Aguero
B)SilvaOpen Controls1 week is far too small a sample to read much into eg. the Walcott impacting Cazorla thing.
It's that line of thinking that has seen the constant yo-yoing from Pienaar >> Fellaini to Fellaini >> Pienaar.
I'd give it a few weeks basically.Open Controlsok lads, can I save the FT this week? (though i am worried about a potential Brede price drop)
Foster
Baines, Rafa, Hangeland
Michu, Morrison. Mata, Ramirez
RvP (c) Berba, Jelly
Migs, Huth, Kebe, Clyne
I have 2.0 in the bankOpen ControlsBrede on 90% to fall, a little worrying
Open Controls
Could I have some advice please? 1FT, 0.2m in the bank. Ben Arfa -> Fellaini? Bale -> Silva? I’m totally stuck…
Foster – Begovic
Baines – Clichy – Hughes – Davies – Gorkss
Bale – Mata – Ben Arfa – Michu – Sterling
RVP – Jelavic – Berbatov
Thank you!Open ControlsLol look at Riise's face. Like he's trying to squeeze a poo out
Open ControlsIf only one could get points for squeezing a poo out, then my decision to get Riise in would have been beneficial...

Such little variation or room for flair in the midfield slots this season. I'll second Mark's idea for a attacking mid classification. At the very least there needs to be a bonus point system that acknowledges "defensive" midfielders. I just transfered Fellaini in, but I hate that I basically had no choice!
Open ControlsBizarre. Of course you had a choice, if you look back at any previous gameweek there is an obvious option to transfer in (or in your words, one where you would have no choice).
Open ControlsI hate this debate. It's stupid and should be binned. You bought Fellaini because he is the best value and you need him for points. End of story.
Open ControlsOf course. Like Mark said tho, there are probably only about 10 viable midfielders out of a pool of a couple hundred.
Open ControlsThat's where knowing football comes into play. It's a game and you need to highlight the strong players. There is still grey areas. It's not just 10 mids.
Open ControlsI know that to score points in FPL a midfielder needs to score or assist. Arteta has over twice as many completed passes as Fellaini over the season, and over twice as many tackles. He is massive for Arsenal, but he doesn't score much or assist so he's redundant in FPL terms. I'd like to see a system where your Artetas can compete for a place in our teams. Just my 2 pennies.

What is a 'centre'? A cross?
Open ControlsStupid to consider shipping Michu?
Open ControlsNot with the way Swansea are playing at the mo...
Open ControlsHe gets a couple more weeks in my team.
Open ControlsNo. On 4 yellows and a couple of tricky fixtures. Plus i don't think playing upfront suits him all too well, would prefer if he was behind the striker.
Open ControlsGet out of my head 😉
Open Controls
I shipped him out three-ish weeks ago. Brought in Fellaini. Best decision ever.
Open Controlssell his value is at its peak right now
he was better playing off the striker and is getting less of the ball as main striker
SELL SELL SELLOpen ControlsInteresting. Cheers everyone.

Lads...haven't been around here much lately. I now need to tap into your pool of knowledge....
What to do about my midfield?
Hazard/Mata/Bale/Fellaini/Sterling
Should I bring in Silva for Hazard?
Front three are Pog/RVP/AgueroOpen ControlsVery similar midfield as mine... Except I have Morrison instead of Hazard. I was contemplating bringing in Silva for Bale... So, as you already have Mata, I'd say Hazard -> Silva is a solid move. Frees up some cash too!
Open ControlsCheers Mate. Wouldn't free up enough cash to make me excited though 🙁 I want to get rid of Pog, need to do something...I never know if Mata or Hazard will be hot for Chelsea. I like having both of them just in case...It's getting hard to ignore Silva though.
Open ControlsI know... It's a tough call. I was lucky and had Hazard at the start of the season then shipped him at the perfect time for Mata. Haven't had a reason to change back since! I think Silva could be a real steal at the moment, and offers a (reasonably) reliable way into the City's attack if he's fit

I’m thinking at the moment. People are saying Suarez is great value because he is much better value relative to RVP/Aguero et al.
And one of the things I’m thinking is that Suarez really benefits from being the only striker and a monopoly of chances and generally carrying a team.
He’s the talk of the town now.
But is Demba Ba not very similar? has good fixtures and doesn’t have a suspension over his head.
At Ba’s price I’d argue he’s even better value and similarly is carrying his team goal-wise. Not to mention he is more clinical.
What about Suarez's value compared to cheaper options?
It will be interesting when everyone jumps on the Suarez wagon this week…I don’t think it’s worth it.Open ControlsRvp Suarez ba is best money can buy IMO. At the moment anyway
Open Controlswell i have been aboard the Suarez train for the last 4 weeks now and am definitely not regretting.
Open ControlsBa will be at Liverpool come January anyways....right? 😀 I'd love me some Ba at Merseyside.
Open ControlsSuarez creates enough chances to justify a sustainable rate of points on a weekly basis, with a nice upside if Liverpool can ever improve. He is an obvious move.
Ba is a very good value forward who scores goals in an above average team.
Both very good optionsOpen ControlsSuarez has definitely developed as a player this season. He will definitely score more than 11 goals that he managed last season and, barring injury could reach the 20's in terms of goals.
Demba Ba is also in fine form, and as long as Alen Pawdew does not stick him out on the wing like the 2nd half of last season he too can reach the 20's in terms of goals, especially as he is on pens. At the moment you are correct, Ba is more value for money.Open Controls
Allright here's a dilema...
Hazard to Mata (sideways move)
OR
Hazard to Silva (differential)
So what do you guys reckon?Open ControlsWhen do the league tables usually get updated? Sometime tomorrow?
Also, any idea when the 2nd draw for the cup is?Open ControlsThat is impressive keep up the good work and give us a Kalou who you think the big scorers will be next week!
