While Sunday brought a rather tepid conclusion to the weekend’s action, the lack of incident allowed us more time to digest the numbers behind the Gameweek so far. In this latest foray into the depths of our members data, we offer further insight on the performances of Adel Taarabt, Raheem Sterling and David Silva not only for this weekend, but the last four Gameweeks and season so far. As for Glen Johnson, well, we’ll let the numbers do the talking…
I've had him on my watchlist for a while. Problem is he plays for Villa.
But he is nailed on and cheap and if he can get a bit of a run going (and Villa also) he might be a good option to free up some cash. Better than Berbatov atm.....Open Controlstbf anyone is better than bertatov at the moment. However Benteke seems to be a sideways gamble especially because Villa will surely not beat teams like Liverpool so comprehensively all the time. As soon as Fulham find form Berbs will be the man once more.
Open Controlshave berbatov and this is kinda my thinking, berbatov will score just fulham have been in a big slump
Open ControlsReally hope so. He's turning into that player you always keep for too long in the hope that it's going to happen... 12 points from 6 games and -0.3 million later, i'm getting very impatient.
Open ControlsTil the Jan WC and then I can sort it......too much else to worry about atm...but agreed...

Silva against Reading for 4 pt hit
or keep Cazorla against wiganOpen ControlsSame boat but thinking Mata instead of Silva (as will have Yaya as City cover) for Caz
Open Controlssee how caz and arsenal for that matter look in the game before making a call id say
Open ControlsAresnal overall looking poor ... If cazorla cant do anything against Reading then im taking him out for Silva for sure. It written all over that city are going to explode against Reading and Aguero, Tevez & silva will be involved in just everything.
Now the quetsion which is haunting me is should i get Silva even if Cazorla does well against Reading......?Open Controls
Don't be thinking bout just one game, Silva is pure class. Cazorla's also quality but not as good and one of them plays for the league champions.

Heres the team:
Mannone, Begovic
Rafael, Clyne, Cameron, Johnson, Cuellar
Snodgrass, Sess, Fellaini, Bale, Sterling
RVP, Berbatov, Tevez
0 in bank, 1 ft
what needs sorting this week lads? obviously need to off mannone but havnt had the transfers lately, is snodgrass worth keeping? only really got him in for the gw gone. and what to do with fellaini? so a few issuses and some thoughts would be appreciated. cheersOpen ControlsWithout taking a hit I don't know there's a whole lot that can be done with your team.
I wouldn't want Yaya, personally think he's not really 'cover' - could easily get 3pts in a 5-0 win. I'd try to save a FT and hide behind the couch during the City and Chelsea games.
2 FT next week would allow a move to bring in funds to upgrade Fellaini, e.g. Johnson/Rafael > sub 4.5m def, and Fellaini > Silva/Mata
Or possibly do that for a hit this week except with Rafael?Open Controlsyeah rafa been up to f all, benched him for his 2 assists of course so has done nothing for me. silva and mata are tempting but for a hit im not sure. but i do think thats the direction i should head. cheers
Open ControlsIt essentially comes down to Silva/Mata (-4) or Sterling (? - the player you'd bench?)
This is working on the basis you bring in someone who about equals Rafael's score - in my opinion, fairly likely. I see the Swans scoring.
Looking at it like sometimes helps.Open Controls
Yeah Fellaini will be your priority I think. To Yaya?
Deal with Mannone in Jan WC.
Snotnose or Sess next week....Open Controls
Finally got around to becoming a Member tonight. Merry Christmas to the FFS team.
Open ControlsYeah I became a member at the start of the season.....only use the ticker......but good to contribute to the site.....great FPL asset..
Open ControlsI was a member last season purely cos I thought you had to be a member to add avatar and link team. This season I rely on instinct to remain being shite 😐
Open Controls
tevez will prob get more points however his playing time will drive you mad (sold him for suarez for this reason). torres just been playing in a far away land so may be tired and might need a few more goals to signals hes back before jumping on him. watched pool game in the weekend suarez had so many chances just that final ball never seems to come, could get you 2 points or a hattrick. so to conclude tevez then suarez then torres
Open Controlssuarez. get mata & silva/yaya for CHE & MCI cover..
Open ControlsTevez. Played fewer minutes, scored more points. Better player than both Suarez and Torres imo, and playing for a far better team. All this, despite more of a rotation worry.
Open ControlsAnd he's a million cheaper than Suarez.
Open ControlsI agree, wish I never transfered Tevez out for Suarez before the SOT game and his fifth yellow. Worst decision so far this season...
Open Controlsdid this exact thing and feel the exact same way
Open Controls
Also, Can u pls tell me how i can add a pic on my profile?

What do they say?
Form over fixtures...Open ControlsIs fellanini to yaya the move to do lads if one has no tevez?
Open Controlswould do it if i didn't have silva
Open Controls
Begovic (Mannone)
Enrique Rafael demel (Davies cueller)
Sess michu sterling cazorla (Fellani)
Rp berb Suarez
Bit confused on what to do with Fellani...
A: upgrade Fellani by downgrading sess....bt sess is playing saints and I will be taking a hit
B: upgrading Fellani by downgrading Enrique...good option but I will have to take a hit for this and will take out sess for Lennon in gw19
C: downgrading Fellani and upgrading berb to Torres....berb has done nothing bt awesome fixtures
D: downgrade Fellani this week and upgrade either sess or berb next week...not taking a hit this wayOpen ControlsLost at the bottom of a page, which option is best...
1,2, or 3…..??
1 Fellani/Berba-> Pienaar/Ba
2 Fellani/Berba/Friedal-> Sterling/Tevez/ Guzan (4 point hit)
3 Fellani/Suarez-> Pienaar/AguaroOpen ControlsGood morning, Fellaini-Flickers, I've got 1FT & £0.6 trousered..
Jaasi
Bassong - McCauley - Clyne
Mata - Michu - Cazorla - Sterling - Fellaini
RVP - Suarez
Subs: Bergo, Enrique, Le Fondre, Davies
Fellaini>Yaya seems to be the way to go but is there something else I could do?
All Advice Always Appreciated....Open Controlsthats the move im pondering as you like me have no other city cover, not much you could do apart from caz - silva or even caz - yaya to upgrade your def
Open ControlsCheers, McTown!!
Holding Caz for now but I need to get need to headbutt Fellaini out because of his impending ban.
I'm considering taking a hit to either upgrade a DEF or to sidekick Le Fondre....Open Controls
So the big 'favorites' for this GW and probably next few are:
1. One or two from Aguero/Tevez/Silva/Yaya (if a cheap skate like me)
2. Mata (maybe at a push Torres)
3. One of RVP or Rooney
I only have RVP from that lot. Worrying times.......anyone else?Open Controlswell they dont always perform, would you have picked benteke over suarez this week?
Open ControlsNot in that class but the man I had when QPR were promoted was Taarabt, was touted as the next big thing. He disappointed soon after and I have had him down as over-rated ever since and still do. But I heard 'Arry saying after Taarabts double on Saturday that he'll play him in his preferred role behind the striker. Fellaini had to go, still sceptical about Taarabt but 'Arry is the Wizard:-)
Open Controls1. check (just brought yaya in)
2. check
3. rvp - check.Open Controls
Would it be too much of city coverage to transfer in Yaya for Sess if I already has Silva?
Open ControlsI only have .5 M in bank so don't have much choice but I could transfer out Cazorla to Mata or Bale when he's fit again.
Open Controls
Im on to my worst GW score this week, sitting with 24pts with Shorey and Sagna to play. I made some wrong decisions in the starting 11? However this teams not too bad is it?
Jussi // Begovic
Hughes // Sagna // Rafael // Shorey // Demel
Sterling // Mata // Nolan // Michu // Fellaini
RVP // Suarez // DefoeOpen ControlsThat wasn't a question about the starting 11... I did make some wrong decisons !
Open ControlsPretty good team! Needs City cover desperately though.
Open ControlsCheers.. thinking the Fellaini to Yaya switch is about all i should consider ...and afford.
Open Controls
Puncheon and Aguero
OR
Gaston Ramirez and Tevez
I could also do Aguero and Ramirez this week but that would mean I wont have enough to do Sess to Mata next week.
Bear in mind that I'll be captaining the City striker that I bring inOpen ControlsPunch and Kun for me

Are there any Aston Villa fans out there that can shed some light on how nailed on Nathan Baker is on defense? His 3.9 price is tempting. I would make a move of Shawcross to Baker, so I can free up funds for Felliani to Bale. My current defence is as follows:
Jose Enrique / Cuellar / Rafael / Shorey / ShawcrossOpen ControlsPLEASE HELP!
A) Rafael + Yaya Toure
or
B) O'Brien + Silva
Thanks! 🙂Open ControlsFor the long run:
A) Torres + Bale
B) Defoe + Mata
What do you think? With Rafa at Chelsea, I think Torres could come good, making this a pretty tough choice!Open ControlsA few questions.
1. Is Cleverly worth a consideration? Way into Uniteds mid, plays ALMOST every week, has now a taste for scoring, is at the centre of many a great (yuck) United move, and more importantly……is 5.6m and they have the fixtures and form!!!
2. Is Benteke a real option now??? I now have an 8m plus, a 10m plus and a 13.5m plus frontline.
3. I have Fellaini, Defoe, Suarez, Michu, Enrique and Rafael. It’s taken me weeks to get my squad looking the way it does now, and im still not finished. What’s gone wrong and how can I fix all this stuff?
My team is linked, and im running out of time now…….im almost 200 points behind my leader!!! Yes…200!!!Open Controls1. Hadn't really considered this, but I'd say no
2. Yes, I'm waiting till after Chelsea though... Like I waited for after Liverpool...
3. Keep Defoe/Suarez/Michu/Enrique for now, perhaps ship Rafael. Removing Fellaini is a priority.Open ControlsThank you!! One reply, and a good one at that! If I ship Rafael then cleverley might just have to make an appearance. The time is fast approaching for (like last year), triple United, and very soon triple City.
Wasn't it almost the norm in days gone by for triple City and triple United?Open ControlsI think those were the times when we had more nailed on players at reasonable prices. Last season I had the Evans-Valencia-Rooney combo for a long time.
If you were to do that now, who would you pick? Defenders, none are nailed on bar Evra - too pricey. Besides, how many cleansheets have United kept? 3.
Mids - Valencia isn't playing well; none are nailed on bar Carrick who isn't much use for FPL. Young is alright, but should be rotated in the future once Kagawa is back in the picture.
RVP/Rooney are the only good options in my eyes.
As for City, well they're either prone to rotation, overpriced or not attacking enough. Aguero/Tevez, Silva, Nastasic would be the only triple up I'd consider, and even then, I wouldn't do it.
1-2 from each Manchester club should suffice in my opinion.Open Controls
First well done on City on Saturday.
1. Cleverly is fair from nailed on and even if he was offers little in attacking points.Consider Taarabt,Puncheon, McCarthy, or more nailed on mids.
2. Not so much a real option as a very good punt.Weimann also a punt.
3. Of those only Defoe and Michu are form and maybe not for long. Fellaini, quality but suspended short term. Suarez 0/5 form slipping, maybe goe. Enrique, a half decent full back, never a winger, Brendan please give Glenner his shot on the wing. Rafael, good going forward, Utd may have more CS with Vidic back but how nailed on is Rafael when Jones, a better defender is also fit.Open ControlsFirst well done on City on Saturday. I like The Toon but they'll never trouble ye

Fellaini + Berbatov -> Mata + Ba/Defoe for a hit?
Open Controlsyes, if you're chasing points. don't take hits unless very necessary.

Great captain options for me this GW:
Suarez vs Fulham
Ba vs QPR
Mata vs Villa
Silva vs Reading
Take your pick fellas. Not considering RVP.Open Controlssnake, you're a beast when selecting the skipper. we are the ones who shold be asking you!
Open ControlsHey man how are ya?
I'm thinking of going Suarez or Ba.Open Controlsfine, ty. how are you doing mate?
same here, must be one of those two. surely you brought in suarez in GW17 to captain him this weekend?
what transfer has you done already?Open ControlsGood, good. Hoping for a Cazorla show tomorrow.
Yep, just might captain Suarez.
Dempsey to Mata is my transfer this week. All-Spanish midfield. 🙂Open Controlswow, a mouth-watering midfield. better add torres upfront, quick! =)
can't believe you did 2 trannies and still had cuellar, on the bench. why is that so?Open Controls
Cazorla Fellaini Mata Michu Sterling
Rooney Suarez Tevez
Fellaini > ??(8.1)
Thinking YaYa or PuncheonOpen Controlssilva would be the best choice to cover for man city, but yaya is another option if you don't have enough money..bare in mind though that he will leaves for african nations cup in 4 gameweeks time
Open Controlswhy yaya when you already got tevez? unless you're all over City, against Reading.
taarabt rotates perfectly with sterling and just hit form, but i would give it a gamble on dempsey too.Open Controls
So I am thinking of getting to the following:
Fellani + Enrique + sess + berb >>> bale + nelson + snodgrass/dembele + Torres
Thoughts on which order I shd do it and over 4 weeks with no hits or over 2/3 weeks by taking 1/2 hits?Open ControlsFellaini > Snodgrass
Enrique Sess > Nelson Bale
Berb > TorresOpen Controls
Did Fellani fall today morning. Doesnt seem like that.
My current team for GW 18 is :
Ming
Demel, Enrique, Cameron
Snodgrass, Walcott, Sess, Mata, Yaya
Rooney, Suarez
Subs : Jask, Fletcher, Ridg, Shorey,
If Walcott is out will ship him out for Bale / Silva.
Giving Suarez last chance.
Should i play Fletcher. If so whom should be on my sub bench.Open ControlsHow the results during busy New year period looked like past years in way of Clean Sheets???? Can we expect 'lower' results in games or there is no some spectatulary difference...
Open ControlsCan anyone fill me in on why everyone is turfing Fellaini?
I've been without internet for a couple of weeks and have re-emerged into some kind of parallel universe I think...Open ControlsAnyone got a link to ACON players?
Also that suspension tightrope is now cause for concern:
Taarabt, Michu, Nolan, Bale, Shawcross, Defoe........reckon atleast one or two from this lot will be out for a game between now and Jan 1st..Open Controlsthat's why we need decent subs too, imo.

Leaving the States after 2 years tomorros and have gotten fond of their football. Tom Brady giving a Lazarus like masterclass v the 49ers.

Patriots-49ers is the opposite of West Brom-West Ham. This game is ridiculous...

Prior to this weekend Benteke had only scored 3 goals. Beware of chasing points.
