Members Area Upgraded

Earlier today we upgraded the Members Area to the new site template, giving everything a facelift as we rolled out the ICT Scout Index – our Fantasy Football Player Index.

We will make a detailed post on the ICT index later this evening, although if you want some early insight into how this works you can refer to this earlier post which explains the basics.

Members can currently view Top 10’s for Influence, Creativity and Threat, plus the Index score, from last season via their new Members dashboard in the Members Area. Full ICT Index scores can then be gathered via the Player Stats > Fantasy Index tables. You can view these tables by position or for all players.

Much more on this to come later.

We are working to roll out the new site template to the main site. We’re currently still optimising the new design and will look to carry out further tests in the next week before announcing a release date.

          Well in some levels I'm annoyed as I can no longer slag off 5under1and about Manc reject raggydolls.

          However the last young winger we took off them was the legend Keith Gillespie so you never know, he might turn out grand with regular appearances and increased confidence.

          He has a very weird head though. Mind you so did Peter Beardsley and he was one of the finest footballers I have ever seen.

            Rumour has it that Kenny Dalglish was giving a teamtalk to his players and told them that he was bringing some new faces in. Apparently Peter Beardsley asked could he have a new one 😉

            Strange signing as at least Gillespie always looked useful Obertan has been fairly useless anytime I have seen him play.. Maybe he just didnt get enough game time to show his full potential and I am probably being a bit unfair

              If Gervinho was a midfielder I think I might risk him, but not as a striker, especially not given their reasonably tough fixtures.
              Wouldn't be keen on Ekotto or Elokobi (but don't tell Elokobi that, he's a fecking beast).

              Other than that I like the punt on Dzeko, looks alright.

      FFS got us a double up at 16/1 last year with Paddy Power, and I put a tenner on it. Would have been a great bet if he had not been injured for a lot of the season. I still think 9/1 is very good odds. You can get 9/1 on Rooney too.

    If any of the Scouts are about.....

    The new members area looks good and I can't wait to start using the new index stats once the start to get populated with the new games.

    Please work on the season ticker some more though. One of the big appeals of full membership is enjoying a full season view of the fixtures, but it's now harder to see it all on one screen and the team names become unreadable. This is a backwards step!

    Who's singing the praises of Aaron Ramsey then? I have Gervinho and had some stick for it...but if RVP is injured he'll at least get some game time.

    If the injuries continue, Ramsey is guaranteed though, right? It's either him or I pick Taraabt and I like Taraabt to be fired up for the Premiership as many others I'm sure agree.

    First and only RMT/choice, and it's simply plan (1) or (2). Help appreciated as I'm tearing my hair out:

    1)Malouda & Zamora. No points hit in GW2 - no plans of yet.

    2)Taraabt & Carroll. 4pt hit in GW2 to replace Silva with Malouda and Carroll with Bent.
