Paddy Power Special – 10/1 Whacky Acca on United, Chelsea, Everton and Tottenham to Win

Ahead of tomorrow’s Boxing Day deadline, Paddy Power have laid on another enhanced market for the upcoming round of matches. This time around, our bookmaker friends are tempting us with Whacky Acca odds of 10/1 for United, Chelsea, Everton and Tottenham to win against Hull, Swansea, Sunderland and West Brom respectively.

When you consider that the regular odds on the accumulator for all four to win are just 4/1, this looks a standout deal for those yet to sign up with Paddy. If you don’t have an account and fancy a piece of the action, click here to join up and take advantage of the offer.

If you’ve already got an account with Paddy, you can still benefit from the Money Back Special on the Etihad encounter between City and Liverpool tomorrow evening. Paddy are offering refunds on all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score and Scorecast bets should the game end in a draw.

To clarify, the Whacky Acca enhanced odds specials are limited to a £10 stake, are open to new Paddy Power customers only and subject to the terms and conditions specified.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

His hattrick tonight will be a good Christmas present for us owners

Fantasy football scout daily hot topic

This is perhaps the only week where not captaining Suarez may pay off. For those who are not captaining Suarez who are you going for and why?

And those captaining Suarez, what are your reasons? Surely it's a tough fixture that Liverpool can't hope to win?

I'm captaining Suarez for reason below this post.

And if the other captain fail I will be trailing against the 60-70% of active players who will captain him tonight.

But if I got the balls to not captain him, I'll probably go Negredo.
Lukaku is a good punt but quick comparison tool against Negredo's is just too much.

Captain Suarez vs Tottenham away as i knew no one would. Trying to not captain him this week as i know most will. Rooney not convincing me though. And i got a slight paranoia of captaining Hazard/Walcott cause of the minimal rotation risk so i may go Lukaku(though i'm not convinced by him either). Wish Aguero was fit 🙁

      Mine is on Suarez.

Was burned by Lukaku captain before, and not convinced about him.

Rooney is my other option, but he's playing in midfield now. He will probably get an assist though.

Liverpool don't need to win it, i just need Suarez C to score a goal or two. City are rubbish at the back for a club of that size and stature. I'd be more concerned at him blanking against Stoke or Wham tbh.

Negredo - Mini league differential for me as the 17 others don't have him unless they transferred him in this week.

Was tossing up between Suarez, Rooney and Negredo. I don't think Suarez will get as much ball as he has in previous weeks due to City's mids over running Liverpool's Hendo, Lucas and Allen.

Rooney possibly playing a bit deeper again?

For me it's on Suarez . This is a week of consolidation for me and he's a safe pair of feet. This week I'm also saving my transfers, trusting my bench and looking to stay within the top 30k, which is where I am for the first time this season. Gwk 19 is when I'm targeting a climb with two new recruits.

I'll repost what i said on the last thread...

City have won all eight Premier League games at home this season and have scored 35 goals, conceding just 5 times.

It's the latter stat that i think people are overlooking. People talk about them leaking goals, but that's only been the case away. 5 goals conceded in 8 games, (four of those including games against United, Arsenal, Spurs and Everton) is really not a bad record at all.

Suarez can score against anyone, but if you wanted one defender trying to keep him out it would probably be Kompany.

Also, i just can't see that Liverpool midfield of Henderson, Lucas and Allen being able to deal with Ya Ya, Fernandinho, Nasri and Silva/Milner. I don't think they'll have enough of the ball.

Defensively they're also weaker imo without Enrique and likely Agger. Flanagan and Skrtel hardly inspire confidence and if City score a couple early it will be game over for fear of a Spurs/Arsenal mauling.

For this reason i'm not captaining Suarez.

A Suarez hatrick captained by 1m+ players is going to hurt far more than a goal, maybe a goal and assist, even a brace from the other options captained by say 200k/250k each. As a defensive move Suarez (C) is a must for me. Rightly or wrongly lots will have learnt from the Spuds game.

Kompany will make life difficult for Suarez - for me it's an opportunity for a differential (I'm 70 points behind ml leader) - I'm going with Negredo but was also tempted by Silva who will be at the centre of things

Silva for me. He's been a focal point in every key city attack, so I think he could get something out of this match, especially since Liverpool have been conceding a lot. This is especially true from set pieces (crosses and corners) which Silva more then often or not takes.

I do think Suarez will score, but with the amount of them I'm not sure.

This is true. But honestly there's no standout captain choices.

Rooney -> Assister and away to Hull is no easy task
Negredo -> Too many points spread in the team
Lukaku -> Off form and just see his stats if you're a member
Silva -> Worse than Negredo, not much of a goal threat
Wally -> Good consideration but not at his brilliance best yet
        Yaya -> k

If there's a gun pointed to my head and I had to choose it'll probably be Negredo. Hopefully Dzeko doesn't start - that's where Negredo can do much damage

few reasons why i C Lukaku insated of Suarez

-home match - everton home game record is quite brilliant and they are club ,,in form''

-Sunderland is bottom of the league with a reason

    -Brown and Oshea wont play

-Sun conceded 30 goals while city only 20

    -city is superb at etihad

-even if Lukaku didnt score in last few matchs his stats suggest that he is due goals

realisticly i think that Suarez wont score over 10pts while i fancy Lukaku too go for hattrick

i could be wrong but it seems that Lukaku is massivly overlooked for boxing day

Fair opinion, but in the end stats is a factor to some extent. But to your points

          1. There's no such as thing as due. Or maybe I just can't trust 'being due'.

          2. Sunderland defense is getting better. 2 CS in last 4 and concede 6. City 0 CS in last 4 and concede 8.

          3. If you're in the form over fixture camp, Suarez probably score a few more in recent weeks compared to Lukaku.

Negredo : 21.2 & 28.1 (improving after Aguero is out)

I am so tempted to do Lukaku to Adebayor, even though Lukaku is a leading candidate for captaincy this week. It'll have to be for a hit, that's the only thing stopping me right now.

Glen J to Baines for a hit, lads? Am currently starting Shaw, and if he don't play I have McAuley off the bench. Will have no funds to get a City player in for Sat, however I wouldn't mind getting Ade in (for Remy), which I can afford.

This is causing me to lose sleep, so any thoughts would be greatly appreciated 🙂

    Norwich FPL Update

Two home games vs. Fulham and Manchester United at Carrow Road. Expect a 4-4-2 vs. Fulham with RVW partnering Hooper up top, with Elmander replacing RVW in a 4-5-1 against United. The match against Fulham will likely mean a deeper role for Fer but more involvement and instructions of early crosses from Snodgrass and Redmond for the two strikers to feed upon.

For those considering their 5th midfielder options, I would strongly recommend playing Redmond for the Fulham match and leaving him on the bench for the United match. Redmond (and Snodgrass) will be given much more freedom for the former match, and in turn will be asked to tuck in and remain disciplined for the United match.

The defence will likely stay the same for both matches; Whittaker, Bassong, Turner, Olsson, with R Martin replacing Turner should he pick up his 5th yellow.

    Buy - Snodgrass
    Sell - Fer
Hold - Redmond and Norwich Defence
