Captain Sensible – Gameweek 36

This week’s Captain Poll is a far more open affair, with players from four teams taking up the top five spots. Arsenal’s home clash with Newcastle brings in-form duo Aaron Ramsey and Lukas Podolski onto the radar, United’s first match since the dismissal of David Moyes boosts our faith in Wayne Rooney, whilst Luis Suarez and Sergio Aguero are, as always, amongst the usual suspects despite tricky weekend encounters against the Chelsea and Palace defences:

We take the top five in this week’s Captain Poll as our starting point and construct a members table based around a number of their key statistics in order to flag up any other players offering a similar sort of threat.

  My thinking not that it will help but I see Rooney as potentially more explosive than Ramsey however i have had it on Ramsey all week, and every time I've gone against my gut feeling this season as a rule of thumb it's turned out to be the wrong move.

      Go with your gut you are chasing anyway. If it doesn't work out meh it was a risk but it would be more frustrating if he plays and does well and you didn't go with your gut..

I'm laying by the pool in Orland, drinking beer and reading up on the latest 7 articles I've missed on here. The rest of the house are at some mall, told them I needed to study for my exams. I'm studying alright. Studying fantasy football. I have a fridge full of Sierra Nevadas, Ramsey (C) and I just did Silva -> Özil for -4 with 0.0 left itb. I am content with life.

        This is true but at this stage of the competition I really don't think he can afford to play with these tactics. He will likely go for it early or play counter attacking football then park the bus.. Saying this I am playing Skrtel ahead of both Azpil and Ward if this helps your decision.
