I'm not really sure who you are addressing here - sure we've got some folk who post Rate My Team comments and ask for advice. I'm sure we've also got some folk who are influenced by what they read in the community. I don't see the problem. You're talking about a minority, not the majority. The fact is the majority use the site in a positive way and take what they want from it.

Open ControlsThe issues you describe are things I've been bleating about and boring people with all season. You don't need to come here to find Toure, Suarez etc - you can just look on the FPL site home page or sort by total points.
This season's lack of originality in teams was caused by circumstances in the season - the elite players went on delivering and few challengers emerged to give us any new names. I've been frustrated too but I believe that's just what we've been dealt this season and it paid to play bandwagons and hold the elite, form players.Open ControlsOf course. Totally agree. I am an 8 year fantasy football veteran.
I have never finished outside the top 4 of my primary ML,, but I have never won it either.
I finished in the top 2.5 thousand one year, but still lost that league by a point.
I lost a 35 pt lead on the last day of last season ( in a low scoring GW) to lose a separate league.
Not to be outdone, this year I get to the final of the PP Cup and have a 3 pt lead after the 90 mins but then lose it on BAPS. Zabaletas ability to get max BAPS in a 2-0 win without scoring or assisting either goal, ensuring that my tale of woe continues.
I Am the nearly man of fantasy football.

I have very mixed emotions.
A thoroughly disappointing end to the FPL season, and yet a thrilling end to the PL season. Remarkably, as a Chelsea fan, I find myself feeling for Liverpool who played the most attractive football and won the hearts of the nation.
We now enter the dead season, a very frustrating but short period when our friends disappear from the website and a few hardcore players remain to discuss what may happen in the coming season. The new season will be on us in no time. New players, new bargains, and the choice of which stalwarts for our new teams. The great game of FPL rolls on. Long may it continue.Open ControlsAmen.
