        Wait for news on Hutton.

If he is fit you can play Hutton (bur), Chambers (wba) and Baines (TOT) which is decent for next GW.

I would ship Tadic and Begovic all being well.

Quick question: How many GWs do you generally plan in advance when dealing with transfers?

For me it's 4 games. I work 4 forward and 4 back. The previous 4 games = form and the next 4 games generally means 2 games at home and 2 games away.

2 maybe. i'll look at the fixtures longer term of course, but never plan actual transfers beyond 1 or 2 weeks. things never ever work out beyond that

I don't mean plan future transfers, I mean GWs when you bring a player in right now.

I think that's probably the best way to do it. Any longer would leave you too open to chance occurrences and sudden changes in the situation, and any shorter would mean that y'd be succeptible to suddenly running into terrible runs of fixtures for all of your players etc.

Planning a Germany trip to watch Dortmund. vs Schalke on 28th Feb looks good.

    One question.

How the hell do I get tickets?

    Dortmund website
    http://www.bvb.de/eng/Tickets/Ticket-Shop

Can only buy 2 matches ahead.

From £137 on viagogo... no thanks.
    http://www.viagogo.co.uk/Sports-Tickets/Football/German-1-Bundesliga/FC-Schalke-04-Tickets/E-669011

Its almost impossible to get tickets for that game and most of Dortmund games as well.

Best and unfortunately expensive way is Viagogo.

Also its funny they have that ticket info page in english but the actual site is in german. But you could try if you are extremely lucky.

I tried getting tickets for Dortmund prior to heading over myself. Was an absolute nightmare. Ended up settling for tickets to a couple of clubs at the bottom of the Bundesliga (can't remember who). Standard of football was really poor - probably equivalent to our third tier. But the atmosphere was far better than anything you'd get in England.

This. Atmosphere in Bundesliga game is far more better than in PL.

It was something else. The second choice keeper for the home side came out and the amount of noise from one little corner of the stadium was more than you'd hear from the entirety of somewhere like Old Trafford or The Etihad. The whistling, the stamping of feet.. was unbelievable. Germans are ridiculous.

We dont know anything about Downing yet, but Big Sam did seem to suggest that 'some' of his players should be back next gameweek.

For that price and those fixtures, definitely yes.

He's had one major injury his entire career. The timetable for his return was too optimistic. Falcao would score twice as many for you, as he has throughout his career. Add the assist potential and he would be Suarez of last year or better.

Statistics are easy to manipulate. Costa didn't always play as an out and out striker until a few years ago.

Costa helped Atleti win the league and come within minutes of the CL.

      Much the better striker now.

          Might go there, might not.

Two very strong home games and what seems a bit of licence to get forward at home plusset piece threat might be worth a punt.

ACON sort of renders the argument pointless as it'd only be for a month. Won't sell Aguero but that said Nasri seems a good option come January.

On the other hand - bony much cheaper, on penalties, plays as a striker...

Personally I'd be happy with one United/one Swansea but if I had to pick one I'd opt for Bony. Cheaper so you'd have around 2.0 ITB for squad improvements elsewhere.

Depends on the rest of your squad.

Fair to say this week has been an absolute car crash due to injuries to Baines, Wilson, Downing and Chadli.. Thankfully have got 2ft. Thinking of swapping Pelle to Bony,  Ulloa to Kane and Chadli to Oscar for the -4 and the following, needs to be done tonight if going to do it and to get in early for their price rises, thoughts?

    Heaton (4.0)
    Baines, Clyne, Naylor (duff, Wilson)
Sanchez, Fabregas, ADM, Oscar and Downing
    Costs and Bony (Kane)

Otherwise risk Chadli being fit and go for Pelle to Bony and then maybe Clyne to Azpil and miss out on Kane and Oscar?

For those looking to bring Kane in but are concerned about his nailed-on-ness, I have an interesting update.

The information was posted on a Spurs forum by a well respected ITK. Apparently Kane and Ade had a confrontation after the Stoke game and the majority of the squad sided with Kane. MP has made it clear that Ade needs to buck his ideas up as he is one of several players not prepared to put the effort required in training to implement Poch's methods. Clearly things change, but this ITK only posts occasionally and has very good info. I would say Kane is nailed on until January.

I take it Vertonghen must be on side against Poch so. Can't believe the way he's in & out of the team. Not only should he play but should be captain. I see even in Europa Poch is avoiding giving him the armband. Definitely something going on there, or else Poch is just a complete and utter moron.

Not as I understand it. Apparently it was Kaboul and Lennon who sided with Ade after the Stoke game. A bit weird but Kaboul and Lennon are pals with Ade, sometimes in the heat of the moment you side with someone coz he's your mate not because he's right?

So that was a freaking punch in the face of a gameweek after waiting for 2 weeks as a Liverpool-supporter and Downing/Baines/Chadli/Duff-owner.. Baines should be ok and I just have to wait for reports on the others? Was hoping to save FT after a hit last week but doesn't look very likely
