    Today i started to seriously consider Hazard --> Moses. Hutton being a doubt potentially leaves me with 10 men this week (writing off Baird).Also Hutton is my weakest link this week anyway, and those fricking Stoke fixtures!

    Not as crazy as it looks on paper i reckon!

    I dont know about you lot, but after Liverpool losing tonight and going to penalties in a tough game, Aguero (C) seems a nobrainer over low form and morale Sanchez?

      It depends on how Liverpool set themselves up . If they go for it and start Ballo upfront with Sturridge then City will probably beat them comfortably . If Liverpool play a 4 5 1 and decide to make life difficult for City it will probably be a very long afternoon . Personally I think Liverpool will do the latter because they have so much more to play for than Everton

      Man city scored 5 last weekend and 1 vs Barca this week.

      I reckon they can break a tired and pretty slow defence

    Trying again cos last time got ignored. 2FT and £2.3m in the bank. Looking like PVA and Ameobi won't start so could be fielding 9 at the moment!

    Foster
    Clyne Bellerin* Clichy* PVA*
    Sanchez(c) Silva Cazorla Ameobi*
    Aguero Defoe

    Bench - Wisdom, (Hazard, Kane)

    A) Wisdom > Dawson/Wolly
    then Defoe>Austin & Cazorla>Eriksen next week for free

    B) Wisdom > Dawson &
    PVA > Wolly
    then take a hit next week to do those same transfers

          Hmmm, a combination of lack of knowledge of exactly what Pulis is doing, I see he's started last 4 but not sure how well he's played and secondly Villa & Swansea both got decent fixtures as well. On the face of it he does look a sound pick.

      Going pants myself, Burnley haven't had a cleanie in yonks and Heaton doesn't seem to get many save points - pants capable of scoring around 4pts even when conceding

        Fair enough I've got the mighty Kieran trippier in for his wonderful crosses and ings up top but wouldn't fancy triple Burnley, even this week! Fancy Swansea to score - considering either shelvey or Ki as a cheap 5th mid this weekend as both looked great v Utd and it would solve my massively sticky PVA situation

    Just another point on the "trying to buy the title" post that some United fans keep throwing at Chelsea and City.....It is always worth remembering just how much United have been prepared to spend but have been unable to get the players they wanted. The last two seasons spend could easily have been much, much, higher in United's attempt to "buy" the title...

    All teams try to "buy" the title, just because they were unable to spend the money on the players they wanted doesn't mean they didn't want to...and the pendulum may well swing this season..or maybe not...

      Every prem title has been bought. Hard to believe Rovers set the trend of owner cheque book 🙂

      1. Dr Dream

        They set the trend in 1912 with Lawrence Cotton. Broke the British transfer record twice, rebuilt the ground...blah, blah, blah....and won the title twice.

        Cotton ended up giving up his ownership of the Rovers after the first world war when he became mayor of Blackburn.

        Apologies to Big Jack and Roman and their like but it's all been done before...

      The internet is gonna be the internet. It's tiring seeing such things constantly on here but gotta just skip over it and not engage as more often than not people are just angry or frustrated about whatever it is they are angry and frustrated about and not interested in actually having a decent and logical conversation about their team or other teams competing with their own.

    How often do players go 38 games never missing the odd one?
    When someone who is normally a regular misses one, usually they're rested and back next week.
    So why is it with PVA theres all this panic?

    1. Adam West - Team Serbia for…

      Left backs only get rotated regularly at City at smaller clubs players are dropped due to poor performance and Sunderland kept a clean sheet last keep . If it's not broken why fix it ?

    Need some opinions on this if you would be so kind. Already doing PVA to Dawson:

    A: Boyd ----> Moses/Walters
    B: Puncheon ---> Moses/Walters
    C: Keep both. Do Defoe ---> N'Doye/Cisse for 1 week punt
    D: Keep all 3. Save transfer

        That's my team. For the DGW, right now I am favoring getting Austin over Eriksen, but also just thinking of getting neither.

        I want to replace one of Sanchez or Cazorla with Sterling and eventually have Giroud in Defoe's place. Also I'm not sure I want Silva long term, but fixtures are good right now.

        I have been waiting and waiting to get Alderweireld for Lescott, but that will also have to wait as Toby is not yet fit. In an ideal world I'd have Alderweireld and Dawson in place of Lescott and Haidara

      This. 4 games in 9 days in a high-energy, high press team is easy. No-one will need resting, Pochettino can start the same XI in all 4 games without any risk of tiredness or injury. 😉

          Back up to Championship but we're a shambles. Tragic.

            You had a great team yourself, probably the most sensible XI in the picks

      Rangers signed Seb Rozental from you guys a few years ago, great talent but injury ravaged.

        Holy shite, I remember him, he scored a brace in his debut am pretty sure.
        Sadly, he's a pundit now 🙁 Almost broke into the international side for the WC in 98 too

        You better hope Alexis doesn't pick up a knock in warm up. That thought always terrifies me.

          I sense you're right, but last time this happened Austin scored a hat trick for me and bob was in fact my uncle

    Between weeks 28 and 29 a lot of teams will get eleven days rest. Notably City. Worth considering their players favourably? Toure instead of Ozil.

      Doesn't City have Barca in that gap?

    I think a touch of cabin fever has crept onto this site today. Caused in large by the problems of GW 27 and 28 against a backdrop of big European games. There have been:

    > Endless discussions about whether a young Sunderland left back was dropped, rested or is in fact "dead" as suggested by one poster;
    > Bizarre transfers being contemplated that would never usually be considered - "I'm going to transfer Hazard for Moses, I think Moses will outscore Hazard over the coming weeks...";
    > Profound interest in likely future lineups with little factual info and yet very entrenched opinions;
    > Long arguments about the gross and net transfer spending of various teams, who bought what title and when;
    > Desperate posts about the relative merits of Haidara and Bruce as FPL options;
    > Assertions about the future state of exhaustion of Spurs players ranging from ardent optimism to rank despair;
    > More managers contemplating bringing back a player they recently got rid of than I have ever seen before.

    It has all been quite fun really. 🙂

      Very true Ruth, many fight or flight responses from managers. Many are just trying to make the best of this probable low scoring GW up ahead, and I can see why some are anxious about the whole ordeal. Many ways to plan for these two upcoming GW's

              Thank you Ruth much appreciated, cheers. Oh indeed, I'm certain he'll deliver this GW. Anything you'd change about the team?

                Can't remember it. Just saw Rooney and your name and that was good enough. 😉

                Got a link?

                    No, I think it's pretty good. The only one I'd probably change would be Sakho for Cisse, I have a very good feeling about him this week.

                      Cheers, and I was contemplating that one and he's definitely in better form. Backed by many that's for sure, you may be right, I just feel like Cisse's is highly capable of destroying a Sherwood defense w/o some key players
