The ScoutCast – Episode 159 – Inactive

Only one FPL manager could withstand a 52-point hit and walk away with a smile on their face. In this week’s ScoutCast episode we tell the extraordinary tale of the FPL champion’s “inactive” Wildcard, whilst looking back on Granville’s own, rather more successful squad refresh.

We tackle all the usual regulars, as Jonty arrives armed with another array of quizzical requests from you, the community. We look forward to the Gameweek 37 double Gameweek, assess the role of end of season motivation and recall the moment that Jamie Vardy’s girlfriend turned our world upside down. No really.

This week’s episode was published live on Monday via Google Hangouts. You can view the full, uncut footage in the larger player below or via our YouTube channel.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Sterling (QPR) or Ramsey (hul) this week? Either doing it this week or next

Though one! I have the same issue, and haven't concluded yet. From what I've seen recently, I think I'll move for Ramsey this week.

Do you think there's a big risk of a cameo from Moreno this week? Would you bench him for PVA?

Same dilemma. Think i'll start moreno unless i hear anything. Doubt pva will get clean sheet anyway.

    Thoughts on this please, folks:

    a) Fabregas > Sanchez
    b) Sterling > Ramsey
    c) Save FT; do both of the above next week

Only issue with c) is that I only have £0.1m extra ITB to cover price changes...

A moment of silence for 24 year old Belgian cb, Gregory Mertens. Very sad news to hear he passed away today after heart failure. Condolences to his family. RIP Mertens.

Yeah, I'm not inclined to be quite as forgiving. Now that it's clear this is just opportunistic, and that there is not even a claim to a connection, I think this is reprehensible. I have a lot of theories about the world and what's wrong with it, but I don't hijack a moment of collective grief to air it. Rubbish.

Monchi has met with FSG already. Klopp wants the England move

I really don't want Paolo di Canio as our new director of football 🙂 😉

Yep. Made a post a few weeks back that genuinely brought a tear to my eye.

Had a truly admirable attitude for someone who was given a certain length of time to live

      Gutted for all those concerned,
So so hard to comprehend life in these tragic situations.
I'm logging off as a mark of respect.
Good night all and take care

I really was not even aware? The man was a gent, giving good advice and stats on here. I may not have known him like others do on here but he always came across as a great great guy. My thoughts are with him and his family. Horrible horrible disease. Rest in peace Absinthe.
