Despite guiding Tottenham to a sixth place slot in 2013/14 after replacing Andre Villas-Boas as the Tottenham manager, Tim Sherwood wasn’t offered the Spurs job on a permanent basis, with chairman Daniel Levy instead opting for Southampton’s Mauricio Pochettino.

The Argentine arrived at White Hart Lane having led the Saints to an eighth place finish, and immediately went about adding to his squad, with Ben Davies, Michel Vorm, Federico Fazio, Eric Dier and Benjamin Stambouli all joining during the summer transfer window. There were plenty of departures too, with Michael Dawson, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Sandro among the big names to leave.

    Question for any Nor fans or people in the know. I am wondering if Mulumbu is nailed on? This is not for the FPL game, rather for my Dynasty Keeper Draft League, we score in stats for Passes Succesful and Recoveries as well as points, goals, assist and yellow cards. He has decent numbers from WBA so hoping he has some certainty in his pitch time.

      I'm no expert but with all those cheap defenders, wouldn't you need to sell 2 players if you wanted to get a better defender in at any time (or wait 2 weeks)? At least if changed kos to merte would be able to slightly upgrade one of the others.

    I already have a 4.0m DF, but can't decide between these two:

    a) CECH - HENNESSEY - AZPILICUETA - RICHARDS - MORGAN
    b) BUTLAND - RUDDY - AZPILICUETA - MERTESACKER - 4.0m

    I'm trying to have both Chelsea and Arsenal in my defence.

    I'd be easier if I downgraded Ritchie to a 5.5m but I don't want to.

      He is not as fast or as good at dribbling but he can tackle, pass and (mostly) cross much better than sterling.

        No he can't. But might get a better chance if he plays out and out wide and not wingback.

        And the same goes for Sterling this season. Both best played on the wing.

    Seems Herrera is out of favour once again. Mata seems to only do well when Herrera's on the field.

    Herrera should be in a midfield 3 with Schneiderlin and Carrick/Schweinsteiger then a front 3 of Mata Rooney Memphis

    Thoughts on kolorov and sagna? Fancy a man city def this season but will make sure i have a very good backup when the rotation saga begins? Seen them both playing a lot pre season and kolorov with a couple of goals sagna at 5.0 could be a bargain, whereas kolorov has clichy to contend with?

    RMT please! I'm pretty set on this, haven't made any significant changes other than the odd player in the same price brackets!

    My Thoughts explained:
    Keepers; Simple as Panti week in, week out, if he's not going well theres Mignolet or Fabianski or a 4.5 that's going well, so not an issue if needs changing.
    Defenders; Chelsea, Arsenal and United defenders who may not be 100% nailed on but they're certainly the current first choice. If any get dislodged I'll downgrade to a 4.5 and rotate with Francis!
    Midfield; Hazard, no explaination needed. Walcott, may change to Ozil but easier to downgrade than upgrade should he start off well! Depay, United "coverage" and I feel he'll do well as an optimistic fan. Tadic, between him and Mane and Pelle I just went for the cheapest one as I feel he's got as good a chance at doing well as any!
    Strikers; Aguero I think will play some part GW1, but will wait till press conferences. Should I change Aguero, Sakho will be upgraded but I think other than GW1 he has good fixtures. Wilson has better fixtures than Deeney and if Ritchie is going to do as well as people say, he has to assist someone!

    Quite long but I'm hoping this will be the last time till a week on friday that I'll be changing my team so will just be giving my opinions on others teams until then!:-)
