The ScoutCast – Episode 195 – Zlatan

Inevitably, Zlatan Ibrahimovic stalks Episode 195 of the ScoutCast. Lauding over us like a Eric Cantona wannabe, the big Swede has wasted know time in getting Granville, Jonty, Andy and myself all in a tizzy.

Do you dare go without the Zlatan/Aguero double act? How do you adapt your midfield to accommodate the pricey pair? Will a wolf enter the Scout hut and interrupt the broadcast?

These questions and more are all answered over the course of another 70 minutes, as Jonty serves up our first “Rough with the Smooth” Gameweek tales from the community, before throwing us the best of your questions gathered throughout the week.

In other news, we’re still 100 episodes short of Last of the Summer Wine’s 295. Stick with us guys, we’re nearly almost there. Coincidentally, we also stopped being funny back in episode three.

On a non-FPL note, Leicester's CL group looks fantastic! Hoping they get a good run to the knockout stages

I think they'll get a rude awakening in Europe unfortunately. It ain't for the one season wonders.

I don't see them getting out of the group. I can't see them being tactically astute enough to cope with these European teams

With 2 FT don't know what to do.
Decided to keep Firmino so only concern is defense with Friend and Kone out so with Foster, Valencia, Stones and Amat who would U recommend for Kone:

    A) Love to free up 0.5m but he might be dropped
    B) Holding but with that Mustafi news it's risky
    C) other 4-4.5 but who?
    D) waste FT (like rest of my team)

I have had my best start in years, 2 80+ weeks.

My team currently looks like this

    Jak - Heaton

    Pieters - Kone - Stones - Friend - Shaw

    Townsend - Redmond - Hazard - Coutinho - Fletcher

    Gray - Kun - Ibra

I am actually thinking of wild carding. Want to bring in Foster/ M.Wilson/Capoue/Trekkers for Gray.

Would this be a crazy move?

I wouldn't wildcard, that's a solid team. The only one I would possible change is Coutinho. Don't like him as an FPL asset, he's too inconsistent.

Had to take two to get Ibra in but keep Vardy, couldn't drop him before Swansea at home, as I feel he'll net one or two.

8 point hit, but i'm confident about this week.

      Hennessey (Jakupovic)
McAuley Van Dijk Friend (Amat Wasilewski)
      Hazard Sterling Tadic Höjbjerg (Carrick)
      Kuhn Ibra Vardy

Carrick and Wasi are obviously enablers, Höjbjerg too but with the advantage of 3 pointers and possibly the odd goal or assist.

Which duo should I buy (2 FTs):

Now, I am not considering buying Benteke yet as he isnt matchfit and I think Crystal Palace are awful. But, he was not awful last season and has in all 4 seasons in the Premier League finished with a good goals to games ratio, even in the terrible Villa sides he played for.

Watchlist him, wait for Pardew to get the sack, then have a look at him.
